                                                            Der erste Eindruck des Restaurants ist durchaus interessant. Beim Betreten wird man von einem ungewöhnlichen Konzept überrascht: keine klassische Hotelatmosphäre, sondern eine Kombination aus Bar, Coworking-Spaces und Freizeitangeboten wie Kicker und Billardtisch – gerade für Kinder eine nette Abwechslung. Beim Service jedoch beginnt der Eindruck zu kippen. Offensichtlich handelt es sich nicht um ausgebildete Servicekräfte, die Motivation scheint niedrig, was womöglich auf schlechte Bezahlung zurückzuführen ist. Bereits hier lässt die Professionalität stark zu wünschen übrig. Der größte Kritikpunkt ist jedoch das Essen und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Das Angebot beschränkt sich weitgehend auf normales Streetfood wie Burger und Currywurst. Für einen Cheeseburger, eine Currywurst mit Pommes, Wasser und ein kleines Dessert wurden 72 Euro gezahlt – ein inakzeptabler Preis für diese Qualität und Portionsgröße. Selbst die “gehobeneren” Gerichte wie Seelachs mit Spitzkohl und Rettich sind klein, unspektakulär und stehen in keinem Verhältnis zum Preis. Zusammengefasst: Ein ansprechender erster Eindruck durch das Konzept, der jedoch durch schlechten Service, überhöhte Preise und mittelmäßige Küche komplett zunichte gemacht wird. Enttäuschend und nicht empfehlenswert.

                                                            Limited menu, very well cooked and presented. Fabulous staff. Robin served us. He even arranged for my friend to have the hotel half board special, although we weren’t hotel guests. Thanks to Phillip in the kitchen too. Best place on upper Chaussestrasse.

                                                            We did not eat here. When we walked in the first thing we noticed was high levels of high energy music. No matter where we tried to sit the noise levels were very high. As elderly people we find it difficult to hear conversations with high levels of noise, plus we definitely do not like this thumpy base ‘music’. We reluctantly set out, after a very long day, to find somewhere else to eat.

                                                            We speak very little German, so our host was kind and clarified things we didn’t understand. The atmosphere was comfortable and the music soundtrack they played was fun. The food was delicious with generous portions.

                                                            The food was OK. The wine was very over priced so we had a gin instead. Food was average. It took ages to come and it took a while to get the attention of the maitre d'. Overall, if you had the chance, I would eat elsewhere!
