On a mission to share the beauty of Mexican culture through food, Chef Johnny Curiel opens Cozobi Fonda Fina as an encore to his beloved LoHi restaurant, Alma Fonda Fina. Named after Cozobi, the Zapotec god of corn, Cozobi Fonda Fina is rooted in Mexico’s centuries-old corn nixtamalization traditions and wood-fire cooking techniques that define its rich food history.

    Everything was delicious and the staff had great knowledge about menu items and portion size. We took family there who were visiting and we all had a great experience. We will definitely return!

    Wow! Sat at the chef’s counter and watched them prepare the food. Great service. Fun to watch the chefs. The food was outstanding and the courses were well paced. We will definitely be back.

    Outstanding food. Chef’s table at the bar was a lot of fun. Would go back and try many things prime rib dinner was delicious.

    Exquisite. Some of the best food my husband and I have had and we have traveled around the world. Get a seat at the Chef's counter for the best experience. The scallop appetizer is heavenly. The margaritas are house made and not too sweet...and strong like we like them. The chefs were so informative on every ingredient in all the dishes. And it was New Year's Eve. A gem of a restaurant and we will be back again and again.
