We had the valentines menu and it was absolutely perfect. Everything was just so well put together, all flavours were matched and presentation was 10/10. Great value for money with 4 courses and sparking wine. Great service too.

I’m not a pudding person and best bit was the Panama cotta. I feel like the madras could have been more curry tasting but everything was still delicious and presented beautifully. At £35pp for this tasting menu is absolutely amazing value for money - left feeling very full!

The food is always amazing at this newer restaurant and I was delighted to see that they are now doing a monthly supper club. This was their first venture to start off the supper club and it was Indian night. I couldn’t wait to taste how they would put their spin on Indian flavours and i wasn’t disappointed. On arrival i had a plate put in front of me with a pompadom, sauces/relishes and a bowl of pakora. What a great start to the evening. The pakora was lovely and the accompanying sauces were so tasty. Next it was the Nan course. I wasn’t sure what to expect for this one and was hoping it wasn’t a plate sized Nan as I’d struggle to eat one. The plate arrived and it had a small round Nan topped with brown shrimp & almond balti, lime, green chilli. What a taste explosion. Everything worked so well together. Next up, was the TANDOORI MONKFISH with bombay potatoes, king prawn pakora and coconut & tomato korma. Again, the taste was amazing and everything on the plate worked so well together. Absolutely delicious. Then it was the BEEF MADRAS - Madras spice marinated bavette steak, cardamom scented rice, jalfrezi sauce, fennel & ginger relish. The steak was cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth. The flavours were once again amazing for another taste explosion. I was really struggling after this but forced myself to eat the MANGO LASSI - Mango lassi panna cotta, passionfruit & mint salsa, caramelized banana, orange sorbet. As with the other dishes, the presentation was gorgeous and the taste blew my socks off. Absolutely delicious. This was all finished with MASALA CHAI- Black tea, milk, cloves, star anise. This was a strange one for me as the smell was like garibaldi sweeties that my gran had when I was wee! I was pleasantly surprised at how sweet the tea tasted. My wife absolutely loved this. Instead of a supper club, this should be renamed a Super Club! What a great start to the monthly menus. Huge thanks to all the staff involved.

I had booked a table for five for the a la carte dinner, as advertised online as available on Fridays and Saturdays. When we arrived, an embarrassed but very helpful waitress said it was only the ‘light bites’ menu available. This was ‘out of the freezer into the frier’ food, suitable for post-golf snacks but far from what we wanted. The quality was poor and we were hugely disappointed. Nothing had been said during the booking process that the a la carte menu would not be available. As a golf club member I was saddened and embarrassed for my guests.
