Due to having reservations, our wait was less than 5 minutes. The waitress was nice and accommodating, the food was good, but not great. I had to remind the waitress to check on our soup because it took longer than expected. As soon as we received our soups, less than 5 minutes, our entrees were brought to the table. I could not enjoy my soup because we didn’t want our entrees to get cold. Other than that, we enjoyed the experience. We will most likely visit again to try other items on the menu.

This food is sooooooooo damn good it makes no sense at all . I'm typing this as I'm waiting on my To go boxes because it was so well portioned and flavorful. We will be back for sure I'm just mind blown because this was on the wimp because everything else was booked and we were worried if we were going to like it and it's definitely worth the money and 20 min drive

Our server was not very attentive and did not effectively manage the timing of our service. Additionally, they failed to stay on top of communication with the kitchen, which resulted in one dish being sent back as it was not gluten-free. The food overall was good. For a regular date it would be okay, but this is definitely not a place you want to come for an intimate upscale meal.

Food was good but potatoes were bland with no flavor and 42 dollars for 3 scallops is ridiculous.

We had the steak board which more than enough for both of us. The service was excellent especially with the amount of people who were dining for Valentine’s Day. Brandon was very attentive server.

They want to be a high end steakhouse in the vein of Ruth Chris but they really miss the mark. We had reservations and were seated in time but they then immediately sat a really large party next to us for the same waitress which meant she was focused there instead of us. We had to repeat requests multiple times. It literally took almost half an hour just to even place our order. We ordered a chilled white wine bottled which they brought in a chiller but nothing in the chiller to even keep the wine chilled. Not sure of the reason they used the chiller if they weren’t going to use the chiller. The wait and bus staff is in white shirts and ties but the interior is filled with wood and very rustic so we’re not really sure what they were going for. The prices would indicate a high end, white linen steak house but the bare wood table tops and wood slab look on the walls would say otherwise. My wife’s steak came out rare to medium rare but she had ordered medium well. She couldn’t order a baked potato because they don’t offer one on the menu which is quite odd for a steakhouse. They did have a daily special which was a 22 oz porterhouse that came with loaded twice baked potatoes but they could not be added to any other meal. They also did not offer any variations on the loaded. That is what I ordered and when it came out, I understood why they offered no options. The loaded baked potatoes were premade and probably bought that way frozen and simply heated. I was really disappointed when the 22 oz porterhouse came out, overcooked and already cut into strips. They had not let the steak rest properly so all of the juices must have been sacrificed to the cutting board in the kitchen. The was not a drop of steak juice on my plate. The meat had a nice char but lacked seasoning. I asked 3 times to get salt. My wife and I had a steak, potatoes, and salad. We split a bottle of wine and our bill came to $180 and that was only with $17 for the wine. Not worth it.

It’s great to have a restaurants of this caliber here in Lexington. Great food, good ambiance and really good service. My only criticism would be the nickel and dimming ( dinner salad, rolls/bread and salt and pepper @ the table ) service fees and card fees but then again this is now the expected practice. Great having Cork & Cleaver Steakhouse!
