I have found Coopers Hawk in Burr Ridge to be consistently reliable. My most recent experience was on an extremely busy holiday and yet their service did not lapse. We had a large party and sampled a wide range of the menu. Dishes were very well executed and delicious. Dining out on holidays always comes with some bumps, but to me, how a restaurant handles those bumps says the most about management and training. So although we experienced some challenges with temperature control within our space, and some lags in the pace of food delivery, our server never wavered in her attention, her good cheer, or her efforts to resolve. When a single entree was delayed (out of 9), she had the manager come and speak with us and he provided a round of drinks on the house. This proactive attention to customer service generates many loyal customers.

Food is usually good, and it was up to par on this visit but there were issues with the service. This place is hit or miss on the service but had been pretty good until last night. 1st, even with a reservation we had a 30 wait. They don’t do text or beepers so everyone has to crowd around the host table in the hope you can actually hear them verbally call your name. Given the wine tasting area and bar being in the adjacent room I don’t know how this is very efficient since it’s too loud to hear this from those areas. Table service started out fine, but still almost 90 mins from ordering to getting our main courses. We skipped dessert because we didn’t want to stay another hour. There are better options in the area if you don’t want to roll the dice with this place.

They sat us in the 4 season room it was cold and noise. Waited 10 min before server came to the table, but after that she was very attentive.

Josh is welcoming and hospitable . He is accommodating and supportive. Great Service and attentive. The Lobster and shrimp ravioli was a new selection for me . I hope you bring back the barmundi or other pescatarian /vegetarian options. The Parmesan crusted mahi was good . Thank you
