    Good service and friendly staff. SO dark on upper patio I couldn’t see menu or my food. My lobster Mac and cheese was very good but I couldn’t believe that they served Chicken Parmigiana to my friend with NO sides and he had to pay extra for pasta???? $23 for a piece of chicken? REALLY?

    great ambiance, visually a wow, but for our $22 burger it came with smallest portion of fries (hand cut , please!) and the burger, which was good, could be elevated to gourmet status by dressing it with crisp fresh lettuce, beefsteak or heirloom tomatoes, and dripping caramelized onions.

    Service was poor. Initial water took while, ordering took a while, then entrees came out way staggered like to the point where it was awkward. Food was good but not an enjoyable dining experience. Service issues seem to be a trend with Starr restaurants.

    Their cheesesteaks egg rolls are spectacular !! The spicy ketchup is a little too spicy but really good! Overall experience was excellent.

    The food is consistently great at this local gem. Try the lobster mac n cheese you won’t want anything else. Love the unique swinging chairs upstairs and the overall retro decor. Probably my most frequently visited restaurant in Philly to this point.
