   My husband and I had a great experience. Love everything about this restaurant! Ambiance, background music, total vibe was nice. Excellent drink and wine list. Pork chop and duck leg were prepared perfectly. Will definitely return to this restaurant.

   Claywood is a great addition to Hendersonville. Overall the food was really good with good flavor profiles. We had one issue with one of our appetizers, but it was handled with grace and efficiency. The seating is a little wonky, more club-like than a restaurant. They have a great appetizer list, so if you are looking for a swanky gathering space for drinks and lite food, I would highly recommend Claywood. If you are looking for a sit down meal, ask for the high tops near the kitchen that can accommodate up to a party of 4. Claywood is on the expensive side, but we will definitely go back!

   Our experience at Claywood was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we walked in, we were treated so warmly by the staff—it set the tone for a great evening. Our waiter, Coen (I think that’s how you spell it), was incredible. He was super attentive, kind, and really knew the menu inside and out. His recommendations were spot on, and he made the whole experience feel effortless and enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for better service. The food and atmosphere were amazing, and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!!!

   We had an incredible experience at Claywood. We made reservations, they seated us immediately and we were greeted by our waiter, Chris. He was one of the best servers we have ever had, at any restaurant. He had great recommendations. We ordered things we may not have otherwise ordered if it had not been for his descriptions. And, he was spot on - everything we had was absolutely delicious. He was a master as checking in with us but not hovering or making us feel rushed. The restaurant was full but they had plenty of help. The vibe at Claywood is super cool...you just want to hang out there. We will be back. Congrats to the Claywood team for a job well done.    Fantastic experience at Claywood! Wonderful ambiance and fantastic food. I had the mushroom hand pie and the duck leg, both of which I highly recommend. Tried my partner's squash soup, also excellent. Drinks were great, reasonably priced glasses of wine. Absolutely recommend, we will return!

   Sunday night is pasta night, which means that in addition to their regular menu they have a pre-fix Pasta dinner available. One of the four of us ordered off the regular menu and the others chose the Pasta dinner and it was great! Really enjoyed our dinner. Carlie always makes everyone feel welcome. The staff is always friendly and attentive. This is our favorite restaurant in Hendersonville.

   Claywood is the best restaurant in Hendo. We had a very enjoyable meal with great mixed drinks as well. The food is fresh and delicious.

   Great vibe in a local boite that has shifted from casual, charcuterie driven theme to a farm to table sit-down restaurant. Very nice menu and adventurous cocktail menu. Beef tartare was fresh but overly salty, and the grilled bread was an excellent addition. Pork chop was superb, as was the red snapper. Mushroom risotto was soupy and flavorless. Desserts were excellent. The chef and concept are recent changes so we’ll absolutely return because it’s a unique experience in our area.

    Ambiance is always great at Claywood. Had a nice evening but we really miss the boards. It used to be so fun to go share a couple of boards and a bottle of wine. A few observations: Menu now is really pricey. $14 for a very small banquette was a bit much. The mushroom risotto was extremely under salted. The fresh fish was definitely a high quality fresh fish but definitely needs more substantial accoutrements than the shaved carrots and fennel. The dish didn’t look or feel put together like a composed dish. Wine selection good but our waiter was not familiar with wine and could not recommend a bottle for us. For this price point we may go elsewhere in the future.
