Chef Matteo Zamboni showcases the best of Australian produce in a menu filled with seasonal inspiration from Italy’s most famous regions (try; Beef Carpaccio, Prawn Mafalde, Mandarin Duck). Sommelier extraordinarrie Luke Collard helps you to captivate the essence of your meal with a profound wine selection.

Civico has garnered a Chef's Hat & two Wine Goblet's in each year of operation but with it's casual-fine dining interior feel and style, it is perfectly suited for an intimate dinner for two, for larger catch ups or group lunches/dinners with family and friends. The Friendly Somm Wine Tasting

Many of you have bought some lovely wines through our new online wine store, The Friendly Somm. Back in October 2024 we launched the site with a free tasting in our Front Room, and it went so well we’re doing it again! On Wednesday, 23rd April (the Wednesday after Easter) we’ll be opening the Windsor St doors for a run through of some old favourites and new releases. Starting at 3pm until around 6pm with some light cichetti (canapés) served alongside the wines. A tempting discount applies to those attending who place orders from the tasting. There will also be a selection of indent wines from our supplier Single Vineyard Sellers to taste as well. With limited space for walk-ins, priority will be given to those who register

Civico 47 is now welcoming BYO wine every lunch and Thursday all day! If you’ve got a something special at home, or have a favourite wine that’s not on our list - now’s your chance to bring it with you and enjoy at Civico along side chef Matteo Zamboni’s modern Italian menu. Corkage is $25 per bottle at lunch and dinner (Thursdays only). We have beautiful Plumm glassware, decanters where required, and advice on food pairing from our resident sommelier Luke Collard. T&C’s: Maximum one 750ml bottle (or equivalent) per adult customer. Not available when dining on our Pranzo or First Table offers. BYO is at our discretion for groups of 7 or more, please speak to the restaurant for more information.

What a superb meal we had here celebrating my husbands birthday. Everything was perfect and the food was sublime.Without a doubt one of the best meals we have ever had.The service was impeccable..We cannot wait to return with our friends. Do not miss this restaurant you will not be disappointed. The chefs special menu was exceptional, so creative and delicious.

Genuinely the best meal I’ve had in Sydney. The duck, the lobster, the spaghetti squash - everything was 15/10! Will be back!

Lovely lobster pasta lunch special for $85. Favourite lobster dish of the month. Glass of 2019 Lunaria 'Coste di Moro' montepulciano, Abruzzo Italy $20 was a nice drop. Friendly professional service. Nice decor and setting. First time visit and was impressed. Hope to be back again to try more of the menu.

I have wanted to try the Civico 47 Wine School for some time. It absolutely surpassed our expectations. The space is perfectly set up and intimate. The food and wine pairings were perfect and the company was delightful. Finally, Luca is a brilliant teacher. His salt of the earth, informative and historically exquisite approach to talking about wine caters for range of wine lovers. Thank you for a wonderful night. We will see you for more Wine School experiences througout the year.
