   Great restaurant and incredible food. Would definitely go again. It was incredibly busy on a Saturday evening in the lead up to Christmas so felt service was a little slow. Great value for money for a restaurant in Covent Garden

   Very good staff, friendly and professionnal. Good cuisine and good value. Wines are too expensive. The most unpleasant in this restaurant is the noise level. You can hardly ear what the person in front of you is telling you. This probably comes from the glass roof. It would be necessary to invest into some noise absorbing pannels.

   If you’re looking for a relaxed dinner, this is not the place to go. The service was rushed, to the point of feeling harassed. While we were still eating (but perhaps taking a pause), twice we were asked if we had finished and whether the plates could be collected, even though the sharing plates were still half full. As soon as we said that we had finished, the plates were collected and menus were placed for dessert. When we said that we did not want a dessert, the menus were immediately replaced by the bill (even though we had not requested it) and the waiter was standing ready with card machine for payment. When I commented that we were being rushed, he just smiled and said that it’s busy. We were in and out in 1 hour for a 2 course meal. While the food is decent, it’s a noisy place and the rushed service makes it feel like a fast-food chain (unless that is the intention and I completely misunderstood.

   The afternoon tea was initially served without tea! Had to keep chasing the server. Disappointingly the chai was a packet mix rather than traditional hand made Indian tea!! Also, The content of the afternoon tea could have been better, especially the deserts which should have been traditional India deserts!!

    The food was very tasty, but the portions were very small. The restaurant was very hot and the tables were very very cramped! The wait staff took a very long time to give us menus and we had to flag them down and chase this up.
