   Disappointing first time experience at Cicchetti in Covent Garden. Met up with a friend for a festive catch up over leisurely meal. Arrived at restaurant 15 minutes early, advised table wasn't ready, I asked if there was a bar we could wait at, told no it was full and asked to come back. That was fine, despite my being obviously disabled, went out and came back at agreed time. Hurriedly walked to a table by the entrance, I asked for a table further in, got one, but definitely the waiter was not impressed by my request and made it known in manner. Ordered food 6 items from tapas menu as suggested by the waiter and drinks. Food arrived in stages and despite two reminders the Italian bread never arrived, when advised the waiter said he would tell the kitchen staff off but made no apology or no attempt to resolve. Throughout the meal, not one attempt to see if we wanted any further drinks, we only had a single drink each - would have liked to have more.... We were in and out in about 70 minutes!! Overall - a fast food experience in a non fast food restaurant!! Would I go again? No - London has far too many alternatives where the customer is appreciated.

   Buzzy atmosphere and good food served as small plates to share. I didn’t love all the dishes but some were delicious and overall it was a great place to have a pre-theatre meal.

   We had never heard of Italian Tapas prior to our visit. And we are certainly glad that we discovered it here. Each dish seemed to be better than the previous one. Excellent! Be sure to make a reservation since tables can be hard to come by.

   First time at this restaurant and I would recommend to friends and family. Food and service were superb. Well worth a visit.

   Whilst the food was fine the concept was not to our liking. The haphazard delivery of food resulted in one of my party waiting more than 20 minutes before being served whilst myself and the other diner had finished. In addition the way the food was served did not in fact lend itself to the 'tapas' style of the restaurant it was not possible to 'share' the Carbonara one of my guests ordered; similarly cutting and sharing a Pollo Milanese proved a challenge. On the positive the restaurant was a joy to the eye but this did not override the negatives of the experience. Neither I nor my guests will be making a return visit

   Our pre theatre meal, was absolutely delicious. Small plates shared, and extremely tasty. Very pleased with our choice of restaurants.

   We were a group of 3 friends who ordered 6 dishes plus 2 puddings to share. Every dish was excellent and the team were very flexible for example with the pizza placing the meat on the side so the non meat eater could join in sharing all of the dishes. Service was attentive without being over the top. Atmosphere was quite lively but not so noisy that you could not hear others on your table. Everyone was clearly enjoying themselves. Ic an't wait go back!

   Seabass in a Salt crust is wonderful as is the pistachio tart. Charming buzzy ambiance.

    Cannot fault the food, super tasty and serving sizes are big (1-2 dishes per person is enough!) We had booked for the pre-theatre menu but nowhere on the website or on OpenTable does is say it finishes at 6pm! Super disappointing as it was left as a comment on our booking as well and the restaurant could’ve informed us of this in advance. Service was okay - it was pretty obvious the waiter wasn’t impressed when we didn’t order a drink.
