   An Unforgettable Feast at Choy If you’re looking for a sign to book a table at Choy, this is it. I went in with high expectations, and somehow, they still managed to blow me away. Let’s start with the absolute star of the night: the duck. I don’t know what kind of magic they’re working in that kitchen, but this was next-level. Crispy, flavorful, and so good that it made us all go quiet for a minute—which, if you know our group, is saying something. Worth every penny. Now, let’s talk wine. The sommelier, Justin, is a wizard. He paired our wines so perfectly with each dish that we started trusting him with life decisions. Service? Impeccable. Our waiter was incredibly accommodating, especially with the gluten-free folks in our group. No eye rolls, no hesitation—just great recommendations and careful attention to detail. That level of hospitality is rare and so appreciated. Overall, Choy is a must-visit. The food is spectacular, the service is top-notch, and if you leave without trying the duck, you’ve made a terrible mistake. I’ll absolutely be back!!

   We finally had a chance to try Choy last night for my wife's birthday. They had printed Happy Birthday with my wife's name on the menu so the evening started with a personalized touch that was consistent thru the evening. The food was a combination of traditional with innovative techniques or ingredients. We started with the scallion sourdough pancake with caviar which was amazing. Smashed cucumbers, pig ear terrine, shrimp fried rice, bok choy and the smoked peking duck which was perfectly cooked - moist and tender with crispy skin and the subtle smoke flavor throughout. If you go you should definitely have the duck even if it is enough for 4 (we took the rest to go). All in all a marvelous experience and a welcome addition to Nashville's fine dining scene.

   First time at Choy. The best thing about our experience was the service - it was top notch. I also liked how spread apart the tables were. It was quiet enough that we didn’t need to shout to hear each other. The food was good, but overpriced. We got the steak - cooked perfectly but overpowered by the sauce. The shrimp fried rice was delicious - fluffy. The mushrooms were one of my favorite dishes - they paired well with the wraps. The shumai and wings were good. We got a glass of Riesling and a cocktail that was just okay.

   Great ambiance. Delicious food. Great cocktails and amazing wine list (pricey). The staff and service were AMAZING. We had a birthday and they had a note on the table and a special "Happy Birthday" menu printed out as well. The owner came by and checked on us and Felicia the bartender went above and beyond. Tremendous experience.
