   The service was excellent, but the food was disappointing. We ordered calamari, which tasted great. However, it came with only five pieces of calamari, some shrimp, two pieces of fried lemon, and a lot of fried onion. For $19, we expected more calamari. The short rib was tough and not tender. It could have been more tender by being baked in the oven for an extra hour and tenderizing. On the positive side, the duck Wellington was delicious and tender. It was well-seasoned. The servers were great. They brought us a creme brûlée to celebrate our anniversary.

   Wonderful relaxing dinner with friends. Waitstaff was extremely attentive. Food was delicious. Will definitely come back.

   Only 2 of us in a table that looks can seat 4, but only 3 because would affect the space of neighboring table. spacing is tight compounded by low ceilings. I can hear exact conversations of all tables around me. I’m a SF gal and have tried French restaurants from South Bay to Napa. And France. The food here was ok but not worth the price. My partner and I had over cooked and kinda tough lamb and beef short ribs.

   Chouchou offers a high-value, 3-course, prix-fixed menu option, which essentially includes everything on their menu. The service and overall experience was excellent. The food was generous in portion and delicious. They went above and beyond to help us celebrate a special occasion (birthday). We will be returning to Chouchou in the near future.

   Chouchou is a very sweet restaurant. Its quiet, clean, the staff's attentive and the foor is fantastic. My partner had the rack of lamb and i had the beef borguignon. They were both delicious. The sauces were tastefully complex and in my opinion, quite magical. We had the mussels and the charcuterie for appetizers and they were delicious. Our server Andre was very nice and did a great job. I liked the decor and ambience.

   A great place for a special occasion. I cannot say enough about how well we were treated by the staff and the food was superb.
