Chop was created for people who love sharing, connecting and everything steak. We are proud to offer a menu that shares our commitment to sustainable beef sourcing, serving high-quality cuts of 100% Canadian beef. It isn’t just the meat that’s special – it’s also how we cook it. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavor to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender. And we put this level of care into each of our hand-crafted drinks, and from-scratch dishes, including plant-based and seafood options, with something for everyone to enjoy.     This was our first time at the downtown location. So consistently great for service and food. The atmosphere was inviting and comfortable. 10/10 would recommend ❤️

    We had a great time and food was excellent. We did not enjoy the “high top” table though and they could not change that. Overall for a very busy Valentines night ( and it was my husband’s birthday) it was very good!

    The service was great until we ordered a dessert and after dinner drinks. We never did receive our drinks or dessert. If you are going before an event at Roger’s Place make sure and give yourself 3 hours. Food was great but just not enough servers were on staff to deal with the rush.

    Wonderful experience. Delighted could reach a lovely restaurant via Pedway from Marriott. I had steak Oscar and wedge salad amazing. Great wine. Awesome service.

    We have eaten at the Chop downtown Edmonton before and it was always very good. Tonight it was average. We ordered a starter Caesar salad that was soggy and overdressed. 7 oz top sirloin was good and cooked as asked. Baked potato was average. Meal just wasn’t worth what we paid. Overpriced for what we paid. I don’t mind spending money on a good meal but this one was not worth it.

    Underwhelming, no parking close by, service was not great. Food was not great. Regret picking this restaurant for my birthday. Will be sticking to the Keg for this type of restaurant.
