   Based on previous reviews we were very disappointed, average at best. Schnitzel was bland and boring no flavor, Steak was OK but not worth $35. On a positive note our server Chloe was excellent, very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu

   Chez Rosa is our go-to place when we are in Maine for the weekend or an extended stay. It is consistently and unequivocally excellent in all areas...the very epitome of fine hospitality, graciopus service, and exquisite food.

   Food was simply delicious! Service impeccable (Sean). We had oysters, chef’s special pate, steak fritz and crème brûlée.

   I love this restaurant! The food is fantastic. They will try to accommodate people with food issues. The food is fresh and of good quality. The waitstaff is very responsive and helpful.

   The food NEVER disappoints. Fish Wellington is back on the menu and perfectly prepared. Probably the best and most honest food in Kennebunkport.

   PERFECT SEASIDE FRENCH BISTRO. We tried Chez Rosa because another favorite in town is closed on Sundays. This restaurant is totally on point. The young server (Bobby) was very helpful and very aware of the wine list. Started with a bistro salad with a lemon vinagrette. Excellent, and the salad was not drowning in the dressing, which seems to be the case with so many places these days. The charcuterie board of the day was excellent. My wife had the steak-frites, the steak was cooked exactly as she requested, and the frites was perfection. I had the Parisian gnocchi, well executed, absolutely perfect for an autumn evening out. And again, the dish was not drowning in the sauce. No room for desert, maybe next time. And there will definitely be a next time. The meal was on par with anything we've experienced in New York City, and quite frankly better than many.
