A new French bistro nestled in a historic townhouse on the Upper East Side. In the main dining room, Executive Chef Zack Zeidman delivers Parisian classics with Basque flair. Upstairs at Salon de Fifi a l’Étage, master mixologist Yumi Nemoto showcases innovative signature cocktails, served alongside light bites from the kitchen below.

He also composed "Bistro Fada", the theme song for Allen's Midnight in Paris. One ticket includes two seats at the bar, which faces into the Salon. Please note that there is a two-drink minimum per party on site, not included in the ticket price. Bar snacks will be available to order.     Thr joint is hopping! We had a late reservation and the restaurant was still full of happy eaters - bar is really pretty and restaurant is charming (and small). We had excellent service, delicious filet mignon and choice from a good, well thought out wine list. Cannot wait to go back if we can ever get a reservation!

    Chez Fifi was a spectacular spot for our girl dinner. We were instantly charmed by the homey but elegant decor and the fabulous staff. There’s also something great about the tables where you can hear everyone at your table very well and it feels insulated from the general din of the restaurant so you’re in your own world but still feel like you’re at a place worth being at. We loved the crab the most of the appetizers - definitely get multiple if you are more than 3-4 people. The bluefin tuna was so fresh and the endives super refreshing. I liked the steak tartare but it felt fairly standard. The entrees are really what shined - the au poivre sauce was one of the best I’ve had and great for dipping the fries. The chicken was cooked perfectly and came with the best potatoes. Loved that everything felt like a classic dish or drink but still felt exciting and easy somehow. We were so full but definitely need to come back for dessert!

    The secret to Chez Fifi is the intimate setting with wine service and beverage service that’s truly outstanding. Our group had drinks, cocktails and wine that were all exceptional and added to the dinning experience.

    We were eventually sat for a 10pm dinner reservation at 10.45pm after repeatedly being told by the staff that our table would be 5 mins. When we finally sat for dinner our server recommended us 2 dishes that we found out from another server were actually unavailable. The first server disappeared never to be seen again. The service was terrible and so we walked out without eating. We won’t be going back.

    In over 25 years of living on UES of Manhattan, this was hands down THE worst dining experience in memory. The staff are rude, clueless and flat out arrogant for unclear reason. I live 2 blocks away and would never go back. Tourists will eat it up maybe

    Really great dining experience. Food was delicious and ambience was great. Service was slow but this could have been due to the restaurant rental we attended through. Highlights were the potatoes fifi, the chocolate mousse and steak tartare.
