A new French bistro nestled in a historic townhouse on the Upper East Side. In the main dining room, Executive Chef Zack Zeidman delivers Parisian classics with Basque flair. Upstairs at Salon de Fifi a l’Étage, master mixologist Yumi Nemoto showcases innovative signature cocktails, served alongside light bites from the kitchen below.

He also composed "Bistro Fada", the theme song for Allen's Midnight in Paris. One ticket includes two seats at the bar, which faces into the Salon.     We were eventually sat for a 10pm dinner reservation at 10.45pm after repeatedly being told by the staff that our table would be 5 mins. When we finally sat for dinner our server recommended us 2 dishes that we found out from another server were actually unavailable. The first server disappeared never to be seen again. The service was terrible and so we walked out without eating. We won’t be going back.

    In over 25 years of living on UES of Manhattan, this was hands down THE worst dining experience in memory. The staff are rude, clueless and flat out arrogant for unclear reason. I live 2 blocks away and would never go back. Tourists will eat it up maybe

    Chez Fifi did not meet our expectations for what people are saying about this new restaurant. We had the chicken and steak au poivre. The chicken was delicious, but steak au poivre was pretty average. The sauce could have been richer, and it wasn’t as satisfying as other French restaurants we’ve been to, so we were not impressed. One more thing I will say is that for the most part, the service was great. But there was one incident that left a bad taste in our mouths. When we ordered our food, the waiter vocalized his disdain that we weren’t ordering more food. It was not something I normally witness in fine dining as the food is already of a certain price that the expectation for a high tip is set. But it wasn’t sufficient to this particular waiter that we ordered one entree and two main dishes. So, while we were hoping to get dessert, we ended up abstaining because we no longer felt comfortable. It could have been a perfect evening with a couple of minor tweaks, but overall the experience was average at best.
