There were maybe 17 tables and 3 servers and yet the wait time was incredibly long. We didn’t even get seated until 15 minutes after our reservation. Once seated no one checked on us for at least another 10 minutes. It was incredibly disorganized. I’m not sure if they didn’t have specific sections or what. Finally this guy asks if we’ve been helped and we said no. I think part of the confusion was that we were seated without menus. This was on v-day weekend as well so it was a busy night, but if you can’t keep up with it, then don’t book so many ppl. Anyways, we finally order and they say they’re out of what we wanted, mind you at this time it’s not maybe 8:40pm and our reservation was for 7:15pm. To be out of something and it’s not even 9 is wild! How did you not prepare for everyone? We finally order and by the time the food comes it’s about 9:15ish. So it’s been 2 hours before we even get to eat. Then a bday party of like 20 ppl come in. Now celebrating your bday is great but maybe not 29 ppl at a small venue when it’s also vday weekend and ppl are wanting a romantic vibe. Idk it just seemed odd. The food was good. Not good enough for the wait but the best part by far. However, it’s incredibly expensive. Definitely not worth the money. I think restaurants forget that you’re also paying for the service, not just the food.

Wait for table was excellent, no waiting with reservation. Waiting for service was long, over 20mins. One entrée was served cold, not good. Word of advice...it's ok to bring out each individual food items when they are prepared. Overall food was ok. I will try again. Maybe brunch

We came all the way from Detroit and went to this restaurant. First of many issues, they didn't know what type of cheese was used for the eggs. They gave us a waiter and it seemed to be his first day. We got mimosa flights and it was champagne on top of straight syrup. Ordered a lemon drop that was straight sugar. Then the food smh. 2 of us got catfish skillets and it's like they cut it up like chicken fingers. The potatoes was sitting in some salty juice terrible. Worse eggs ever and it was sitting on top of the potato juice. Then they charged a 20% service charge that DOES NOT include the tipsmfh. Our bill there for food we didn't even like or eat was more than the 5 star restaurant we went to the night before.

Hands down the best New Orleans style food in the city. I will dream about the gumbo for days to come. Lovely waitstaff and a darn good drink.

Had to wait although we had a reservation. Then tried to sit another party that came after us ahead of us before we said something to the “hostess”. All he had to say was “oh” & sat us. Once we sat down, no apologies for the wait. No one came over to give us silverware, water, not even an introduction. Service was too poor to even try the food. Got up and left. I will never be back. First impressions are everything.

When we arrived for our reservation we still had to wait 15 minutes just to be seated. Then was told for a party of 5 they only had seats at the bar. We got our drinks on time and nobody came to take our order. Our reservation was for 12:45 and we ended up leaving at 2:00 because we still never got serviced. It was a poor experience.

I want to say that my wife and I had high expectations for this restaurant and I think that’s where it started. I ordered from the restaurant week menu and they were out of fried crab claws. I wasn’t offered a substitute or anything. There wasn’t a notice anywhere in the restaurant either. I decided to order a drink, just a beer, they were out of modelos. So you can’t go wrong with a Jack and Coke. They didn’t have Jack nor coke. We finally ordered and my appetizer(jalapeño cornbread) came out cold and I couldn’t get my fork through it. That was fixed by them bringing me a fresh appetizer. Ultimately, I feel like the place is small but intimate. It’s not big enough for the two servers that were there to not know who’s food was who’s. There were quite a few mixups. Not sure what was going on. I’m actually just going to accept that it was probably a bad day for the servers and the restaurant itself.

Wonderful experience at CheSa’s Bistro! Even with a full crowd of hungry people and a smaller staff - they made sure we were well taken care of. Brianna, our server, was wonderful! We even received a beautiful greeting from another staff member and acknowledged the wait time. We will definitely be back! Thank you!
