   I have been to various Chat Thai branches. I wanted to try the Circular Quay location since I hadn’t been there before. So, I decided to take my friends there for our Saturday lunch. We got a table, though it took some effort to get the staff’s attention to place our order. We started with cocktails. my friend suddenly felt unwell after drinking half of hers, and had to go to the restroom. She couldn’t eat anything after that. I’m not sure if the cocktail was the cause, but she got sick immediately after drinking it. The cocktails also felt quite pricey. Despite everything, we were still charged for the cocktail. Unfortunately, the day didn’t go as planned—but maybe another time.

   Perfect location for Opera House pre-theatre dining with good-sized servings of tasty Thai dishes. Prices are good also. As it was quite busy the evening we went, service was a little lacking - we had to go find someone to take our order to ensure we could eat and be done in time for our show. Overall, we'll be happy to return.

   The food is ok. I think there are other Thai restaurants in Sydney that can do a better job that Chat Thai. The portion is quite small for the price. If you visit Opera House, it is a good alternative to other restaurants around there. However, there are other restaurants in the building. I’ll try somewhere else next time.

   This used to be a favourite restaurant in the area. My last two experiences were terrible. On this last occasion, three dishes we'd ordered didn't arrive at all. There was a party of 7 and this meant that three people didn't get a meal before a concert at the opera house - and it's not easy finding other food in a hurry before a concert! We'd enquired about the missing dishes at least three times. On the last enquiry we were told that there'd been a problem with the ordering system and the food hadn't been made. But nobody seemed to really care, nor was there any apparent supervision. The food was also average - my stir fried beef was definitely the worst I've ever had. Not generous, not tasty, hardly any vegetables. Not half as good as any cheap Thai restaurant around Sydney. On a previous occasion, I'd ordered a prawn dish for $33 - there were three prawns, three small prawns! Never again.

   Best green papaya salad I have ever had. Great Mango cocktail. Pad Thai version beautiful presentation and tasty-just needed more heat!

    This is one of my favourite thai restaurants, the food and service never disapoints no matter to what Chat Thai location you go. If you are looking for something beautiful and yummy that won't break your budget, than this is a wonderful place to go out.
