   As a repeat customer of the Chart House at various locations, including this Scottsdale Arizona location, I had high expectations for another great meal and related service. Although the meal was generally very good, the service was highly disappointing. The waitress displayed considerable attitude and was curt with her interactions throughout the entire meal. She offered no insights into the menu and had to be prompted for drinks, bread and condiments. The mini lava cake dessert was also a bit disappointing, compared to past experience, as it was dry and lacked the “runny interior lava” which makes the dessert. The dessert disappointment would have been minimized if the service had not been so poor from this particular waitress. Clearly she has done the Chart House, and their paying customers, a true disservice.

   Waited 20 minutes to get our bottle of wine. So we were close to walking out. Ordered the Halibut and medley. Halibut was cooked good. I felt the vegetables needed to be cooked longer as a little hard.

   Only thing I can say is their ceaser salad is not the normal ceases salad. It is more of a southwestern ceaser. Other than that the service and food was perfect as always. Luke keeps everyone in line and does a tremendous job at providing great value and quality of food and service as a manager should. Our waiter Tyler was very attentive and professional.

   First off, Bailey was our server, and if you can, get her. She was so attentive, had great suggestions, and provided top-notch service. My husband and I aren't typically cocktail/appetizer people, but we were celebrating, so we decided to go all out. Let me tell you, I will always get their Firey Cucumber cocktail. It was so light and refreshing. The muscles were probably our favorite part of the meal. My husband got the clam chowder and it was the best we've ever had. For our entrees, I got the sea bass and lobster risotto and he got the NY strip, both of which were to die for. We cannot wait to come back to Chart House and try more on their menu!

   The food was great, the atmosphere was great, the view was great but the service was very slow. We got water to drink very quickly but it took 30 minutes to get drinks. In total it took 3 hours to complete our meal and we didn’t even have desert. They were not busy as there were many open tables. I would recommend this restaurant for everything but the slow service.

    We dine regularly at Chart House. The food is always delicious and the service fine. Since it is a busy place, sometimes service takes longer than one might hope, but that could be remedied by adding servers. Bailey, who waited on us, is always attentive and friendly. First class establishment!
