   Expensive and food was ok. I had a filet mignon that didn’t have any flavor and was chewy. I added shrimp and it was overcooked and uneditable. Lava cake was delicious and kimchi calamari. Service wa ok. We sat without water a couple times. Great views.

   We’ve been coming to chart house my entire life and this is the first time we’ve been really disappointed. We had a reservation and were seated 20 past the reservation time. The table we were seated at was next to screaming children which we understand when it’s busy it can be hard to seat elsewhere, but there were other 2 tops available. Our server was very friendly and we really liked him, he apologized for how busy it was. We were there for a birthday and we come every year for multiple family members birthdays, we were asked which dessert we wanted for it and then got charged. A busser was also on their phone having a conversation while clearing the tables next to us, very unprofessional. Normally love the food but unfortunately this time it felt like a low end restaurant rather than the higher end that we love and expect when we come here. Over all really bummed about the experience.

   Servicer unfortunately was not around for us. Food not prepared as requested. We love chart house so a bit disappointed.

   Moved here in ‘78… one of my fav spots to celebrate events.. first time I’ve had a problem… Reserved a table with a city window view…. Got there on time.. no table available by a window… table of 6 supposedly reserved first … I get it.. but why wasn’t I informed?? I’d have gone to Simms Landing instead, they also have a window view. This is a management problem.. not a server problem. Address it. While I made my complaint clear.. all workers were treated with respect and tipped well ( I’m a former busboy) Fix it….

   The waiter that we had was great! Very helpful and his recommendations were spot on. The only complaint we really have is my husband ordered the lamb chops and they had mostly fat on them with very little meat. I got the Sea Bass with lobster risotto and the Sea Bass was a little fishy, which tends to mean it wasn't very fresh. The risotto was very over done and kind of gummy. BUT, we loved the calamari and the dessert was great too. We will definitely be going back for cocktails and appetizers for sure. We plan on bringing some friends with us too!

   We went to the Chart House for our anniversary last night. It was amazing! We had a cozy window seat overlooking the city as the sun was setting. Drinks were good. Tried the clam chowder and calamari for appetizers. They were really good! Then I got the Chilean Sea Bass with lobster risotto which was incredible. My husband got the halibut with garlic mashed potatoes and a side of mushrooms. That was delicious too. Then they surprised us with a glass of wine and anniversary dessert at the end. Everything was so delicious! The atmosphere was nice for a romantic anniversary dinner. Can’t wait to go back!!

   7pm reservation. Waited until 715pm to sit. Service was painfully slow. 3 hours later, desperately trying to pay and leave. Very disappointing and will probably not come back for Thanksgiving. And light pours on the drinks - might as well get us tipsy if we are going to wait over an hour for our food…but nope!

   The waiter served me the burned vegetables, asked for replacement and still bring same burned vegetables . Cook and waiter suck tonight! Turkey dinner = the diner restaurant tastes better .
