Charley's Steak House is owned by the Woodsby family and has operated in Florida since 1974. Charley’s serves only three-year-old USDA prime and choice Angus steers, aging them four to six weeks for tenderness & flavor and hand-cutting the steaks daily to ensure consistent quality. The steaks are then flame-broiled over Florida citrus and oak wood in a custom-built pit at 1200º searing in the tantalizing taste that has made Charley’s the #1 steakhouse in America every year since 2007! Charley’s philosophy of providing only the finest extends from the kitchen to the wine cellar. The wine list approaches 1000 selections from scores of exceptional wineries around the globe.     Charley’s definitely has an old fashioned vibe. The interior smells a bit bad when you first walk in. It is dark, the ceilings are low, and the restaurant is sectioned into rooms. I guess it has the classic steakhouse feel but personally not a fan of this type of ambience, at least not in 2025. The service is outstanding, and the steaks are excellent. My martini was perfect and the sides were very good. The wedge salad was swimming in blue cheese and the calamari wasn’t very crispy, so I had to deduct a star for the food. Close to $700 before tip for 5 of us and that included only two of us drinking alcohol, so it’s not somewhere to go for value but it is an experience.

    Definitely you need reservations. Our waiter Chris was awesone. The food was very tasteful but don’t know if due to where we were sitting are food got cold very fast. The side addition of 2 shrimp one was halfway cook.

    Charley’s is our go to place for special dinners and celebrations of all kinds. This visit was for my husband’s birthday and we brought our daughter and son-in-law along. They thought the food was the best they’d ever had! Everything was fantastic, including the service. You can’t beat Charley’s for good food, good wine, impeccable service and the overall be experience in town. Make sure you get the butter cake. It’s unbelievable. Thanks Charley for another great night!!

    Charlie's was absolutely amazing and I can honestly say it was all due to our fantastic server Anthony!!! He was so on point with everything from his recommendation, to his sweet and funny personality, his personal touch when it came to helping celebrate our special occasion, his overall attention to detail and last but certainly not least his charm. The food was delicious, the cocktails were phenomenal, and the service was absolutely fantastic!!! Thank you Anthony for everything!!! We will be back again soon!!!

    The appetizer crab cakes are a MUST! Best I've ever had anywhere. Love the filet mignon, can never go wrong with that. We love everything we've ever had there.
