Charley's Steak House is owned by the Woodsby family and has operated in Florida since 1974. Charley’s serves only three-year-old USDA prime and choice Angus steers, aging them four to six weeks for tenderness & flavor and hand-cutting the steaks daily to ensure consistent quality. The steaks are then flame-broiled over Florida citrus and oak wood in a custom-built pit at 1200º searing in the tantalizing taste that has made Charley’s the #1 steakhouse in America every year since 2007! Charley’s philosophy of providing only the finest extends from the kitchen to the wine cellar. The wine list approaches 1000 selections from scores of exceptional wineries around the globe.     Wife and I went there tonight 1/18. Service outstanding! Wife’s salmon came out very oily. They took back and corrected and came back and was fine. I had NY Strip 18 oz - med rare. Cooked perfectly; but the cut was so-so. Some Grizzle and fat in middle areas . Tough in spots too. Not the best steak Ive had from Charleys. Augratin potatoes were excellent! Be aware, they charge $10 for blue cheese crumbles and bacon bits on each side salad. Seems excessive to us. We got Carmel cheese cake and it was just ok. Not worth $18 we paid. We likely won’t be back for quite awhile. For us , average middle class couple; it was very pricy. But a nice night out.

    My wife and I chose Charlie’s to celebrate our 17th wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. From the greeting at the front door until we left the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and special. We were treated to a card signed by the staff, a special appetizer and an ice cream subsection’s the meal. Our server Michael was outstanding. He took the time explain special nuances of the menu, the various cuts of meat and suggested pairing to enhance the meal. .He checked on us regularly but was not intrusive. The manager came by the table twice to see if we were enjoying our experience. My wife had a single pork chop which is a hidden gem on their menu, an ample portion for the hardiest of appetites, well seasoned with lots of flavor and was cooked to the perfect temperature. I had the wet aged 22oz bone in NY Strip topped with sautéed mushrooms. It was delicious, cooked to medium rare and seasoned perfectly. We shared a side of creamed corn that was the perfect complement to the meal. For dessert Michael emphatically said the butter cake is the best dessert on the menu. It had the right blend of crispy crust, gooey center, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and fresh whipped cream was an amazing addition to finish the meal. This was an excellent and memorable experience to celebrate our special occasion. I highly recommend Charlie’s and look forward to returning to try other items on the menu. Bon appetite.

    Staff was fabulous. Steak was great. They’ve changed the sides and au gratin are not as cheesy and good as before. You need to update your price list bc it’s way off.

    Edward was a phenomenal server! The food, ambiance, attention to detail, everything was on point! We celebrated our 17 year anniversary and will definitely be back. You gotta try the bisque! Oh and the steaks, you def do not need accompaniments, the quality is unbeatable.
