Charley's Steak House is owned by the Woodsby family and has operated in Florida since 1974. Charley’s serves only three-year-old USDA prime and choice Angus steers, aging them four to six weeks for tenderness & flavor and hand-cutting the steaks daily to ensure consistent quality. The steaks are then flame-broiled over Florida citrus and oak wood in a custom-built pit at 1200º searing in the tantalizing taste that has made Charley’s the #1 steakhouse in America every year since 2007! Charley’s philosophy of providing only the finest extends from the kitchen to the wine cellar. The wine list approaches 1000 selections from scores of exceptional wineries around the globe.     Our Chef as the country folks will say “.put his foot in it”! The 50 oz. Porterhouse steaks cooked to perfection and the wagyu meatballs and sauce was MAGNIFICENT, savory and danced on the palette. Whew. The cheese bread, house salad and broiled 2 lb. Carribean lobster was mmm mmm good plus yes there is more the red sangria fresh made drink accented all the food. But wait. The butter cake. The butter cake. THE BUTTER CAKE was the cherry on the top. We tried but couldn’t eat all but We will. Great birthday celebration and Shannon was delightful knowledgeable and awesome. Thanks again Master Chef and staff.

    Best steakhouse in Orlando! Highly recommend. Wagyu filet is amazing, end with a butter cake. Must try!

    All of the steaks, sides, and appetizers were amazing, from the alligator bites and grouper bites to the filet mignon with mushrooms and truffle butter sauce to the cheese and bacon mashed potatoes, broccoli with garlic and butter, cheddar bread, and salad with a special olive oil vinaigrette dressing. Even the margaritas were fabulous. Walter, our waiter, was so professional and accommodating at the same time. We have found our new favorite restaurant in Orlando, and we will back!

    My second visit. Love the atmosphere, a bit disappointed in the food. Oysters, fantastic, grilled lobster just so-so as it was dry and tasteless. Steaks were good, but not outstanding - and not just for me but the entire party. Service was cordial and creative, but slow. Too many gaps between courses and even the drink orders. Really too bad as I was entertaining valuable clients.
