Chao Pescao is our neighborhood restaurant offering a gastronomic journey through Latin America and the Caribbean curated by Costa Rican born Chef Keivin. The menu style is shared plates, and this is your chance to discover some of the unique flavors of the region. Our award-winning mixology program has also made this restaurant a guest favorite. Mixology, cooking classes and live music are offered throughout the week. Our communal table is perfect for large parties.

Great food. service and ambiance. The manager who used ti be a bartender is a rock star! The best artisan crafted drinks,, and he’s the nicest guy who treats you like royalty.

Gabriel was the star of our dinner. The dining experience was made top-notch by his knowledge and table-side interaction. Eclectic food menu due to their Latin American base. A must visit if in Papagayo, Costa Rica.

The whole staff was amazing, including the band that was in the restaurant. Everyone was super kind, from host, servers, etc. most importantly the food came out super quick and was amazing.

The food, service, and ambiance were perfect. Edgar our server was super helpful and incredibly nice. All of his suggestions were perfect. There was live music which was nice during dinner. Definitely recommend coming here.

Our server was amazing. She recognized it was our anniversary and offered to take a picture for us. The food was quick and delicious.

All the restaurants at this resorts has been an A+ for us but Chao Pescao was a little bit more pleasing. Being able to sample foods from different Caribbean and Latin cuisine in one dining experience was just the chefs kiss. All the plates were a great portion and just so flavorful. My favorites were the Jamaican jerk chicken, Costa Rican rice and beans with chicken, the fried yuca from Cuba…ate a lot more but those dishes were the most memorable. The ambiance was definitely of a Latin vibe with salsa music in the background. Staff was ahh-mazing and personable. You will not be disappointed.
