About this restaurant

  • Great for fine wines
  • Charming
  • Neighborhood gem
We are two New York hospitality industry veterans, and Cecily is our Greenpoint home. Originally conceived during the pandemic as a mission-driven neighborhood restaurant with a deep and thoughtful wine list, where we could provide our employees meaningful profit sharing and ownership, and our guests incredible service. Cecily values a sense of place and neighborhood, delicious sustainable food, and responsible stewardship in our community.

The vibes are immaculate and the selection of cocktails and wine are strong. The meals are twists on simple food items, for example the Cara Cara oranges, but the value of those orange with an oil topping are extremely high priced for the product delivered. Portions are very small in comparison with the price point. I had a 9:15 meal in which I was quite hungry but the cost and size were not in line leading to a $400 meal amongst 4 friends and a trip to a pizza place on the ay hone to avoid breaking the bank. Would absolutely go again for a cocktail and an app prior to another dinner reservation.

Lovely food, impeccable vibes, complex cocktails, and a perfectly tailored wine list - nothing we had was anything less than perfect. Front of house staff is attentive and make excellent recommendations. Food highlights of the night were the endive salad, duck and onkonomiyaki rice.

Such a cute little wine bar and restaurant. Great food with a small frequently changing menu. The okonomaki rice was the best. The staff was amazingly friendly and on point.
