A lavish European dining experience, serving some of Melbourne’s finest Italian cuisine. Designed as a sister restaurant to the original Cecconi’s in Flinders Lane, our second venue brings a touch of luxury, refinement and ‘buonissimo’ to Melbourne’s inner-east enclave.

Inspired by its heritage in Italy’s northern regions, and the masters of Italian design, our Toorak venue offers a modern evolution of classic European dining, with a strong Melbourne sensibility. A journey of intimate spaces, luxurious finishes, bespoke detailing and sculptural forms.

Cecconi’s Toorak adds a contemporary touch to Melbourne’s culinary landscape, whilst maintaining the high-end Italian hospitality that has made Cecconi’s a Melbourne dining institution for more than twenty years.

    A little difficult to locate restaurant entry…. Through a passageway, into the foyer of a building and then a lift to level 1. Once there, it was a great night.The food was amazing. Our waitress was super patient and friendly, repeating the specials. My only criticism is we weren’t asked if we wanted more bottles of sparkling/still water opened. It was just done automatically, and at $13 a bottle, it would have been nice to be asked.

    Cecconis Toorak service lacked finesse from taking an order and even asking for a photo. May be because the mandatory 10% surcharge for a table of 6 +people left the team without the incentive to serve.

    The food, the service, the ambience were all terrific. My one criticism was for the gin and tonic and vodka and tonic that we had to start. Neither of us could taste either alcohol and the tonic must have been from a gun as it had almost no fizz and tasted very flat. Disappointing in an otherwise terrific offering.

    I would go back for the ambience and service. The food was lack lustre, particularly my mother’s veal was quite dry & the lobster rolls weren’t the best. The service and vibe were great.
