   Loved our waiter Jose! However, was very Disturbed by management asking him to notify us of a table seating next to us would be joining soon. At first, I thought it was due to noise level and thought well that’s considerate. But soon came to realized it was because they needed our table. At this time it was only 6:15pm. Our reservation was at 5:15 and got sat close to 530. So had only been eating for 45 mins and were on dessert and drinking our last cocktail. I did let Jose know this was not okay, and management came over and apologized and gave us a drink on the house . However, this was of very poor taste for this to be shared with us, so shame on management for putting our server in that situation. I don’t expect this from any restaurant and especially not one where we spend $300 for 2 people with tip.

   While this was our first visit to Catch Dallas, we had previously been to Vegas and NYC Catch. Every item we ordered, which was a considerable amount since there were 6 of us, was outstanding. There wasn’t a hiccup in the service nor the food. Is it a good price? No but what is, especially in the fine dining category? We were all raving about how much we enjoyed our meal and experience, can’t wait to rush back. Thank you for making my birthday dinner extraordinary!

   Great seafood and very fresh overall but forgot an entire course we had ordered until the end of the meal and didn’t apologize which was weird for this level of restaurant

   The portion sizes are incredibly small. They tell you the food is shareable however they are all more like sides. The sashimi pizza should be called tostada. The flavors were good but definitely not worth the prices. I don’t mind paying a premium for a meal but this was ridiculous. They also brought (and charged us) for the wrong more expensive items. For example, we wanted regular fries but they brought and charged truffle fries which are almost double the price. We also asked for soda water, the waiter asked if we wanted Topo Chico or regular soda water and we wanted just regular but then he came back saying they don’t have regular, even though he originally offered. And the Topos were the mini bottles. Just don’t come here if you are hungry because everything is very tiny.

   Wouldn’t go back strictly because we were asked to place apps and main entrees all at once. I get you need to turn tables ($$) but this isn’t a way to get solid repeat customers people like to take their time, enjoy their drinks discuss what they will eat over their apps and sometimes their palate changes after eating these appetizers so asking to order All at once is not something a high end classy restaurant does

   The food was incredible and the atmosphere was very lovely. They did a great job on the interior design. My only note is they are a bit pushy for you to order all your food at once. It made the table anxious if we had ordered enough food because it seems like there is no option to order more. But everything turned out great! I would definitely recommend it, especially if you have friends and family in town.

   The food quality at Catch Dallas is phenomenal. All the dishes were prepared and plated beautifully. (Sea Bass, HellFire Roll and Pistachio cheesecake are a must) The bartender also curated amazing cocktails. Had the opportunity to meet Khoa, the GM, and he appears to be a strong and positive influence at the restaurant. The only down side is the noise level. Other than that, 11/10.
