   Fantastic overall experience with beautiful and delicious dishes and a laid back but sophisticated atmosphere. I really liked the tableside prepared strawberry Bellini, great choice for a sinday lunch. Servers were a bit to overbearing and pushy for my liking. One kept trying to get me to pick a wine even after I made it clear Id choose after I finished my current drink. Other than that, the only other minor nitpick was that the plates and cutlery were a little scuffed from wear. Not too big a deal, just something I noticed. Definitely recommend for those once in a long while special occasions.

   Outstanding experience! My wife and I lunched at Catalina’s and the experience was outstanding. We have both been in the past but this time was extra special. Truly memorable lunch to commemorate our wedding anniversary

   Catalina could rest on its incredibly scenic (and convenient) location and serve mediocre food with uninspired service, and surely it would still be crowded. But it does not. Catalina offers a truly extraordinary culinary experience, with a wine list to match, as well as impeccable, knowledgeable, efficient service (thank you Roberto!). Five Stars!

   This is a very well known, long established premium restaurant with a solid place in the Eastern Suburbs scene. It was nice to get back there after many years living interstate. Every aspect of our lunch lived up to expectations. The food was very good, the service fun, quirky and professional and the price was high, as expected. It's a bit noisy, but it was busy and the other diners seemed to be having an excellent time too. A classic Sydney waterfront experience.

   Wonderful setting and the food was excellent. I found the room very noisy when the restaurant was full - difficult to hear each other. Also when it was so busy service standards slipped - took us 25 minutes to get a menu, and we felt like we were fighting for attention to place our orders (both initially and for desert) which is simply not good enough for a restaurant of this quality.

   Catalina is always a fantastic experience. You can’t get a better local in Sydney by the water and beautiful food always and very close to home. Thanks again for an amazing experience .

   Absolutley wonderful lunch at Catalina’s. The lunch was for a 50th birthday celebration, so a very special occasion for us and it exceeded our expectations. Every course in the tasting menu was carefully thought out and beautifully presented. The service/staff were attentive and knowledgeable without being in your face. Overall a lovely experience.
