Since 1986, Casanova Italian Restaurant is at the heart of the Upcountry Maui lifestyle. From Sunday brunch right into dinner, you may expect the best Italian food on the island (as voted by countless local magazines’ surveys). Fresh salads, pastas, seafood and pizzas from Maui's first wood burning oven are Casanova's signature dishes. Loyal patrons appreciate Casanova's very reasonable prices.     Absolutely delicious Italian food with all home made pasta and wood burning pizza. We had each ;) We took our 3 little children here for dinner last night for Valentine’s Day and it was loud and energetic, and we loved it!! It’s an Italian place, c’mon!! The service was the best we’ve had on island- as it always is, and the food came out piping HOT- the way we like it! There are no complaints! We didn’t have to worry about our kids being too loud bc it’s an energetic restaurant that had live music. Our night couldn’t have been any better. We will definitely return.

    Our server(s) were Keri and Lilly. They were AMAZING!!! We never had to ask for anything, they anticipated our every need!!! The server assistants were also on top of everything. Plates cleared, water glasses refilled, etc! Our entire experience was perfect! We made the huge mistake of going to the Casanova Bistro in Kahului… We will never go there again. The food was subpar and the service lackluster compared to yours and Makawao!

    The food at Casnova is consistently good. The service was not so good, I was finished my meal before everyone else got their and their meals came at different times. Other than that very enjoyable.

    The restaurant was full at 5:45. Cold drinks and salads. Server was friendly and attentive. Pastas and steaks were served hot and cooked as ordered.

    it’s fried slices of potato instead of garlic mashed potatoes. A new chef must be in town. honestly, i prefer mash potatoes as food that takes time and a delicate touch touch to prepare and shows off the skills of the crew. hence 4 stars instead of 5. steak, fish, and pasta were consistently amazing as usual. much mahalo to the staff as we enjoyed our main dishes as usual… bring back those fluffy mashed potatoes with the same level of service and food quality, and you’ll get 5 stars from me.

    Casanova’s was perfect. Great wine list, delightful appetizers (we had the artichokes) & the focaccia bread was so addicting. My husband had the mahi special, it was a large portion of fish served with roasted potatoes & veggies. I absolutely loved the filet mignon fettuccini. Our server Daniel was friendly & attentive. I’ve been to Casanova’s several other times, their pizza is delicious, the chicken parmigiana is one of my favs, great salads. Don’t forget the Bellini’s. We’ve always had an incredible experience at Casanova’s.
