   We had the burnt end nachos and ribeye fajitas! The chips and salsa were amazing. Salsa is a spicy in all the right ways. Highly recommend the nachos. San Antonio does nachos right by making each nacho individual. But the service is what was stellar. Our waitress was incredible.

   Our waiter was so knowledgeable of the restaurant and menu, and was also the best bartender! We will be back! Food was 10/10!

   I almost always dine at Carriqui when I am in San Antonio. The staff is friendly, food is outstanding, terrific atmosphere. However, it was clearly understaffed at my last visit: Long waits for cocktails, having to remind our waitress (who was clearly hustling to accommodate other guests) on more than one occasion of what we had requested.

   Wow!! Exceeded expectations! Had reservations but went in for cocktails before dinner - excellent drinks, not watered down but perfect! Dinner was excellent! We chose the shared Smokehouse plate which was awesome! We got to sample a bit of the menu for an awesome price! Not overfilling but scrumptious for 2 people! Loved it!

   My experience at Carriqui is always been great. Now has every meal been outstanding, for the most part the answer is yes. But there has been some items that just were not to my liking but the wait staff have always taken care of it without question. And they have brought me little samples to try. Now I would call myself a regular and if this is the first time you are trying the restaurant I’m sure you will enjoy. And might become a regular yourself. The staff, the building, the food and the smell of the pit are just the right combination for a fun and wonderful time.
