Location was perfect, close to Central Park, we had a reservation (highly recommend as the line was out the door), we got the peanut butter pancakes, a burger, the club and bottomless mimosa...the mimosas were strong DELISH!

Fast paced diner and crowded as expected. Fast delivery to table. Overpriced for food quality. Stick to breakfast options.

We’ve eaten here multiple times on multiple trips to NYC and we’re always impressed with the incredible professionalism and efficiency in which the staff move through massive volumes of people. It is a true testament to teamwork and commitment to customers. The food is amazing, oh my gosh, wait until the French toast comes out topped with fresh berries and whipped cream, the mimosas are delicious with fresh orange juice, and it’s really fun squeezed in among the artwork and atmosphere with your family and friends. This restaurant is top tier and hits all notes - warm place, staff, and food. Don’t miss it, it’s sure to become a fave!

Food was okay but not worth the price. Our waitress was miserable and it was Christmas Day.

I gave the food five stars because I’ve been there before, and it’s exactly what you’d expect when you go to a diner. It’s great. Portions are huge and it’s delicious. The rest of the low ratings, though, come from the fact that making a reservation here isn’t really making a reservation. We arrived a few minutes early for our reserved time and were directed to the end of a very long, slow (non) moving line that seemed to include both walk-ins and people with reservations equally - it made no difference if you had a reservation or not. The line went straight down the service counter, so you were in the way of the wait staff - they tried to be nice about it, but of course it wasn’t great for them, and we felt bad about getting in their way. And at the end of the line, you were running into tables, so you were looming over people who were eating - also awkward. When someone needed to get in or out with their kids and a stroller, there was no way to get out of their path to make it easy. We left after standing there for 20 minutes and seeing two parties be seated. (We were about 8 parties back, so the math didn’t look promising.) This obviously wasn’t the staff’s fault - they were doing everything they could. This is a management thing - restaurants shouldn’t take reservations on Open Table if they’re meaningless. It puts everyone in a bad position. If you’re a New York City diner at the holidays, maybe don’t bother - you know you’re going to be packed without reservations, and you know people are going to linger at the tables because they’re on vacation. It’s going to be a mess. But if you’re going to let people make them and have waits like that for reserved tables, take a cell number and text people when there’s a table ready. Yeah, it might take one more staff member to do that, but you won’t have people walking out feeling like they were a problem rather than a guest.

We had the unfortunate experience of sitting near a large family with several crying kids… They didn’t seem to know how to control their own children. I’m sure the restaurant staff was a bit distressed because they wouldn’t leave for the longest time .
