   Our table for two was ready as booked Seated near the pass so that made it interesting seeing our food prepared. We chose the Christmas set menus and food was very good as was the service

   We arrived at the appointed time, looking forward to our meal before heading off to the cinema. The waiter handed us the menu and wine list. He came to take our drinks order after a few minutes and we asked for two large glasses of Pinot Grigio. To our astonishment the waiter informed us that the restaurant had no white wine availabe at all. We thought he was joking at first but no, he was serious - no white wine at all in the establishment! We left and went to another restaurant instead. This is not the first time we have been disappointed in this way. The last time we visited Carluccio's for a family lunch-time meal in October this year we tried to order Pinot Grigio only to be told that they hadn't got any! That time they did have an alternative white wine but it was more expensive. It's quite incredible that an Italian restaurant does not have any white wine and, in addition, the waiter should have warned us before handing us the wine list! Needless to say we won't be heading back to Carluccio's!

   Booked because we knew it was going to be busy, only to be told just as we were seated that it was going to be long wait as they were short on staff. They'd only just opened. We were pushed for time, and so decided to eat elsewhere

   We had the sea bass, sea food linguini, and a pizza which were great, except perhaps the pizza topping could have been a little more generous.

   The waitress apologised for how busy they were but the waiting times for food were too long. ALSO….the whole place was too cold. ALSO…the main course I wanted was unavailable ALSO…no lemon tart dessert on the menu?

   Very disappointed. Food was ok but very slow to come, particularly the main course which came about an hour after we ordered. Asked a number of times and told ‘it’s just coming’. Or even ‘I will get them now’ when they wandered off and did something else. We believe the kitchen was the problem, or forgetting our order. The restaurant was very busy. Never again!

   Excellent waitress and table service. Everything clean. Started with selection for f breads, then lovely pizzas and containers provided to take remainder home.

    Food was mediocre. Very bland carbonara, focaccia looked frozen and not appetising. Mini doughnuts were not nice and no english breakfast tea available. Service was not great either. Would suggest finding another restaurant.
