   We arrived and were greeted warmly, we got our drinks promptly and ordered from the set 3 course menu. We did not wait long for our starters and enjoyed those. We got our mains however one meal was wrong however the staff apologised and got the correct meal promptly and they corrected the mistake with kindness and dealt with it well despite myself and my partner not having any issue with this. Strongly recommend and as a lesbian couple we felt welcomed and treated the same as anyone else which is not always the case in the other places.

   Disappointed with the final Bill as we had thought we were being charged the valentine menu price but when the Bill came we discovered a very strange creative accounting which meant we were charged more than anticipated. Not very transparent and has left me with a poor opinion of the restaurant chain. The first open table booking that I had to leave a negative comment. I don’t think Carlucio would be very happy

   Waitress was very friendly but did not inform us that they were out of pizza dough before sitting us at our table. We did order a starter and some drinks, the chef also gave us some desserts free of charge which was very kind. We are looking forward to returning and hopefully having the meal we had expected. Overall the food we did have was lovely but it would’ve been helpful to be told there was no pizza dough before sitting us at our table.

    All 3?meals were good, but all were warm and not hot: a shame as otherwise an enjoyable lunch. The sirloin steak was of a high standard. The bottle of wine sold at a fair price was enjoyed. Service here is always pleasant.
