Carlos@b&v brings the finer side of dining and service to this unique little part of North London, on the Green in Winchmore Hill, a stone's throw from the mainline station of the same name and a short drive from Southgate on the end of the Piccadiily Line. Carlos himself is a restauranteur with flair, having built a reputation in the area over 30 years and so his experience with executing a dynamic and slick establishment brings much to be excited about. Guests will get that familiar 'welcome back' feeling even if they happen to be newcomers. The interiors are comfortably chic but inviting, with a warm ambience and the atmosphere is busy and vibrant. Live music and niche little magic entertainers are a regular occurrence. With an open alfresco feel in the summer, looking out on to the Green itself and a pavement terrace in warmer months too.
The menu is Modern European with a specials menu that changes regularly and plenty of choice on the drinks and cocktail menu.

The menu at Carlos has changed for the better - we all chose the vegetarian menu instead of Sunday roast (although they do have fish on the menu too). Our servers Elliot & Anabela were fantastic & dealt well with all our requests. A great Sunday afternoon, wonderful food service & ambience - will definitely be back. Thanks too to Mehmet.

Amazing evening celebrating my birthday with a friend it was an even extra special evening as they had entertainment there a magician he was amazing and the restaurant was full. It was really nice. I’m a regular at B&V and I enjoyed the evening. It was lovely will definitely always return. Service is always outstanding. Staff are always friendly so it’s definitely worth a visit, especially for special occasions.

We enjoyed our visit to Carlos @Buckle & Vaughan for Sunday lunch. We were greeted at the door and offered a nice table in the main restaurant at the front overlooking the Green. All the staff were very helpful and pleasant. There was a good choice of roast chicken, pork belly, rib of beef, salmon, seabass or lamb cutlets. We chose the roast beef which was delicious. All the mains are served with roasted veg, Yorkshire Pudding and gravy. It was well presented and everything was very tasty. There is a wide range of dessert options - we went for homemade apple strudel/ice cream and pear tart/ice cream. Please note that the pear tart was not suitable for nut allergies due to the layer of frangipane (sweet almond-flavoured custard). We each had a glass of wine (Picpoul and Merlot) and then coffee. At around £100 for two including service, it was good value and we would recommend the restaurant.

My wife and had a 6.30 booking on Sat 04/01/25 and as it was early the restaurant was quiet but at about 7.30 it was getting to be fairly busy The food was excellent we had BRIE, LAMB CHOPS, SEA BASS all cooked to perfection and I can highly recommend it as probably the best restaurant covering Enfield Borough Top MARKS
