    The food was good, but unfortunately the drinks ridiculously overpriced and the service was bizarre. Even though it was an almost empty restaurant, the hostess brought us to the back of the building in a dark corner behind the staff seating.

    Despite booking “counter seating” unfortunately my party was seated in what the hostess described as “overflow seating.” This turned out to be in a basement room that was very spartan, had exposed and dusty BX cable across the ceiling, and a speaker playing music which changed its volume unpredictably from very quiet to extremely loud. Servers did their best and the food was enjoyable. But ambience was counter to my $16 glass of red wine.

    The food,atmosphere and service was excellent. Booking a table online was very simple. If we come back to the area we will be back. The staff were very personable. ,

    The food is amazing. Never an issue with that. The problem was the table my party was placed at was practically in the kitchen. It was directly next to the pizza oven where the staff were making all the pizzas. It was hot, and there was always staff bustling around our table to get the orders. It was uncomfortable to say the least and took away from the dining experience. Also, there were small flies all over the place while we were trying to eat. And while the staff were friendly, it felt like we were an after thought. Even though I made a reservation, our table was not set up as all the others were as we walked thru the restaurant. Just felt forgotten and out of the way the whole night.

    My wife and I reserved a table a day early. We enjoyed the beautiful patio. Great service, lovely ambiance and fantastic food! Pizza diavolo, gluten free penne with chicken, caprese salad and cannolis!
