   Best dinner on Cayman and we have a lot of favorites. Eliza was wonderful. Everything she recommend was delicious! Order the sticky toffee pudding.

   Calypso Grill was absolutely fantastic! We made a reservation and were seated promptly upon our arrival at 7:15pm. That was quite surprising considering how busy they were. The restaurant is situated right on the water in the harbor with both indoor and outdoor seating. The ambience is energetic and the music is moderately loud, while the dress seems to vary somewhere between very casual and somewhat formal. Within minutes our wonderful and friendly server arrived with fresh cold filtered water and explained the menu and restaurant favorites. After ordering drinks and an appetizer, some delicious fresh bread and butter was delivered to our table. The Calypso Rum Punch is delicious and so is the crispy mango shrimp appetizer! After receiving our drinks and appetizer, we ordered our entrees. I had the lobster and mussels spaghetti with a delicious cream sauce and my lady had the lobster and shrimp with a champagne butter sauce. Both entrees were generously portioned and absolutely phenomenal! The total bill was a little over $200 which is rather expensive, but well worth the cost in my humble opinion.

   We had a lovely evening at Calypso. You cannot miss the lobster and shrimp in champagne butter sauce. This was one of the best meals I’ve ever had. My husband got the ginger tuna, and gave it a 6/10, many due to the preparation (just wasn’t for him). We started with the crab cake and would definitely recommend! Super fresh and would be hard to beat from anywhere else. We also got the ceviche. It was good but not a stand out like others we’ve had on the island. Can’t miss the sticky toffee cake to end a beautiful night.

   So busy and noisy hard to have a conversation Loud music didn’t help Grilled mahi chimi churri was tasteless and served without a vegetable and cold string potatoes Will be a long time before I return

   Per usual it is the BEST food, service and ambience on the island. We go at least twice on a 7 night vacation. I can never get enough. It’s very consistent. You won’t be disappointed!!!!!

   My party of two had a delightful evening at Calypso Grill. The fresh seafood is always nicely done, and there are quite a few choices of seafood and preparation. The service is excellent. Ask for Misha if you can. The noise level is fairly low. It’s wise to make reservations because it is quite popular.

    My husband and I celebrated our anniversary dinner here. I ordered the lobster and shrimp dish. I can honestly say, my meal was the best seafood meal I've ever had. The service was OK. The hostess at least acknowledged our anniversary, but our server did not. He only seemed to care about the larger tables where he was guaranteed a larger tip, which was strictly my opinion. However celebrating with my husband and eating such amazing food made up for it. This will be a go to stop each time we visit the island.
