Nice view of the water. The staff is friendly and they provide good service. The food was great, we enjoyed everything we ordered. It small and tables are close together, but the place is great for a nice evening dinner. The cocktails were a tab strong. They also had live music the 2 times we were there. The second time we ate there we just had pizza in the back area by the bar.

The food was really quite good. The venue also was beautiful. However the restaurant seemed to be suffering from staffing issues which resulted in long wait times. It took us about 25 minutes from being seated to have the opportunity to submit our first part of the order. The cocktails were ok with the exception of the espresso martini which was amazing.

Although one of the most beautiful oceanfront views I have ever experienced while dining, the food and service leave much to be desired. You are much better off going to the restaurant Duke’s which is next door. While the waiter was friendly, polite and happy to explain the menu, the service was slow all around as fellow diners waited for their entrees. The shrimp cocktail was warm and the cocktail sauce was pretty much just ketchup. The seafood di mare appetizer was delicious and the tomato sauce was very good. The filet and lobster was overpriced at $100 and the lobster was tough. The ribeye was edible but mostly fatty and a waste of money at $50. I wound up packing up most of the steak to give to the stray cats in the area which at least made it somewhat worthwhile. If you want to go here for the ambience I do not blame you but please stick to only Italian dishes like the lasagna and do not make the mistake of thinking that this is an even barely reputable steakhouse as you are better off burning your money than wasting it here. The alcoholic drinks also left much to be desired and with a bill of almost $300 for my girlfriends bday, I am mostly upset that I wasted my loves time at this establishment.

Both of us had pasta dishes dishes which were just fine but not remarkable. We waited about 45 minutes between our salad and our pasta supposedly because the waiter did not understand the rules for when to turn in orders. Nice view of ocean and the ambience was fine

A nice venue, the calamari was excellent. The veal piccata was creamy…more like fettuccini- and the veal was tough. Not very good.

The ocean view at this Italian restaurant is the real standout—absolutely beautiful and worth the visit for the scenery alone. Unfortunately, the rest didn’t live up to the setting. Parking was a hassle, which set a frustrating tone right from the start. We were hoping the food would make up for it, but it fell short. The vegetables were clearly frozen, not fresh, and the lobster lacked any real flavor—it just tasted like butter. The filet mignon was decent, but the sauce that came with it was unpleasant and didn’t complement the meat at all. Service was okay, nothing special. Overall, we left feeling disappointed. With such a great location, this place has potential, but the quality of the food needs serious improvement

We arrived early for our 5:30 pm reservation. We noticed they were cleaning a table next to the rail in the front and asked if we could wait for it. They graciously said yes. What a view!!! Our waitress was very attentive. My Filet Mignon and Lobster Tail Plate was perfect. Hubby ordered Veal Scalapini, and my son ordered the Lasagne. It is one of our favorite restaurants on the east coast of Kauai.
