Excellent food, and no 5% San Francisco employee mandate surcharge. Management of this Restaurant should be commended for not having that . We will be back. Everything from the food to the dining experience was top-notch

I'm consistently impressed by the exceptional dining experience at Cafe Mystique. The cuisine is always delicious, with dishes expertly prepared and presented. The service is equally impressive, with friendly, attentive staff who ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Cafe Mystique is undoubtedly one of my top recommendations in the Castro district – a true gem not to be missed! I've been so many times the staff remembers my order. Lamb risotto/ Medium spicy. The hummus platter with extra garlic pita bread. A glass of Shiraz. Done. I look forward to returning.

From start to finish everything went great. Sat outside in the parklet (with heat lamp) as requested in the reservation and watched the passersby which is quite spectacular given the neighborhood. The food was excellent including the stews (beef & lamb) and the ribeye, and the service too - very friendly and didn’t rush us out. Will be back for sure.

Great neighborhood option that's reasonably priced. Outdoor (sidewalk) seating was very nice.

I made the reservation about 2 hours before arrival at the restaurant for 6:30pm. Upon arrival I was told the wait would be 30 min. When I said I had a reservation, I was told there was no reservation without him checking anywhere, he had checked reservations at 4. When I asked why I was making a reservation only to have to wait 30 minutes, he told me not to be rude. If I hadn't known that the food was very good, I would have left straight away. After a little less than 10 minutes, we got our table. After that, the service was OK. We were never asked if we wanted more water. The empty water bottle was simply cleared away.

This restaurant offers great Mediterranean food and every time I go there, my meal selection is outstanding and the portions are big. The waiters are charming. A fantastic dinner place in the Castro.

Really great restaurant in the heart of the Castro. The food is fusion Mediterranean. The place has a really modern ambience. Really enjoyed the food and the attentive service. Definitely recommend it.
