   Food was amazing. Burgers very tasty. Staff were lovely but took a while for food and it was a little cold in the place. Otherwise it was great.

   Hopeless! Short staffed, poorly trained staff. Lost order, left waiting for an hour. Had to leave as they needed to retake order after an hour. Shame as it was a double birthday celebration. Ruined by a poorly run restaurant.

   We were previously regular visitors to the Butta Burger at Quartermile which now appears to be closed permanently, so we thought we’d try out the George Street branch. We always had the same so we were looking forward to our meal. However, since our last visit it seems that portion sizes have been reduced quite a bit, and similarly there were no draught beer options available. We were used to coming away from Butta absolutely stuffed because of the size of burgers and portions of size, however this is unfortunately now not the case. The food did taste fantastic and the service was great from the floor staff.

   Good food and waiting staff doing their best but restaurant was chilly with door continually being opened by delivery drivers

   The employee only approached me once, to get both my food and drink order. My drinks were brought and very quickly placed on my table. Another employee brought my food, seeming upset when I asked for napkins (that I didn’t have any of). I had to wave across the restaurant to get my bill, which took a fairly long time to bring to me, after which I had to bring the bill to the employee to pay, even though they had a portable point of sale. Seemed more important for the employee to talk to the others working. The food was cooler than I would prefer when eating in, seemed a bit wet, for want of another word. Was also not as flavourful as expected for a truffle burger. The black garlic mayo was also not good. Generally just a dissatisfying experience. Which was disappointing after researching the best burgers in Edinburgh and coming to this establishment. Maybe my expectations were too high? Likely wouldn’t have left disappointed if the food was amazing or the service was on point.

   We thoroughly enjoyed our experience- lovely staff, food was great (lots of choice) and portions were a great size- we’ll be back!

   From the very friendly staff to the delicious burgers it made the whole experience superb.Also the strawberry cheesecake milkshake is incredible
