   A lovely Sunday lunch experience today, the roast was better than I've ever had at The Butt Inn before, the best roasts (both beef & pork we had) anywhere in the local area the last year. Lovely waiters, good real ale, they gave us a lovely table with plenty of space. The ale we chose had run out unfortunately but we still liked our second choice. Top level cooking, delicious pork, beef and red cabbage. My only negative comment would be a bit too much garlic in the roast potatoes and I like them crunchy. A really nice Sunday lunch experience.

   I have visited The Butt Inn many times. As always, we received a warm and friendly welcome. We were shown to our table and the menus produced immediately. My friend ordered the tart and the soup for me as a starter. Followed by Shepherds pie and fish and chips. All were excellent. Our meal was served with a smile as always. I would highly recommend this pub, not only for the service and food, but for the warm welcome that I have always received there.

   The staff were excellent and very attentive. The food was served in a timely manner and it tasted excellent. All 4 of us enjoyed our experience at The Butt Inn. Thank you very much.

    Christmas dinner was amazing. Nothing was over cooked and was all very tasty. One of the best roast dinners I've ever had...chef did well. Although it was busy, the staff were all working very well. Very cosy atmosphere with the fire going. Never been there before but will definitely vist again to check out there normal menu.
