   First time going here and it was great. Happy hour had good deals so we got calamari and the shrimp appetizers. Highly recommend both! However the steak frites were dry and overcooked, and just really not worth the price. But the Burntwood burger was amazing!

   Food and value were very good. Service was slow and they were not crowded at the time. But we will be back again the food is worth it!

   It was an average experience. The restaurant was not busy and the waiter was not present or checked in. We had to flag down other waiters for refills. I will not return to that restaurant.

   We waited 40 minutes for our server because there were only three in the whole restaurant. While we waited, we heard music being piped in through blown speakers overhead, so the typical blown speaker sound was overshadowing the music I’m not quite sure what’s going on in this place, but they are extremely low staffed. After 40 minutes of waiting, we ordered drinks and an appetizer that took another 30 minutes to arrive. I ordered a gray goose martini with blue cheese olives. The last I checked, there was no water in a martini. However, my gray goose was very watered down, the olives were horrible and just old and bad.. I didn’t wanna wait another 20 minutes for the server so I walked to the bar myself and talk to the one bartender who refused to open another bottle of Grey goose because she said she wasn’t allowed to. So does my guess that they are trying to extend their alcohol by watering it down. The restaurant was not crowded, so there was no reason that I could see that the kitchen would’ve taken that long to prepare meals. When the food finally arrived, it was OK. The portions were extraordinarily small. We were there for 2 1/2 hours… nothing should’ve taken that long. I’ve been to other Burtonwood taverns and they were definitely not like this . I will never ever go back to this Burntwood Tavern at Landerbrook, and would definitely warn anyone to stay away unless you have a lot of time to kill, want water, down drinks, and overpriced food, that comes in small portions. It is my opinion that if this place keeps up this way that it will close very soon.
