   The ambiance of Burntwood tavern is amazing, and the table was decorated beautifully for Christmas. Our server Nicholas did a great job, and he was entertaining. The food was only okay. Two people in our party ordered the chicken parmesan and neither liked it. I ordered the salmon, and it was overcooked. Overall, we had a great time.

   We always love BT ! They had a wonderful violinist playing (the volume was a little loud) Fried Calamari was so/so Burgers, chicken sandwiches were delicious Street tacos barely had meat and way too much slaw -(wouldn’t recommend) Beers were cold Service was good - The above wouldn’t prevent me from returning.

   It wasn't bad but nothing to write home about. Had the bisque for an appetizer. I was thick not pleasant. The salmon was ok but way too much of this sundried tomato vinaigrette which was more the consistency of a chutney. The best part of the meal was the martini.

   This was our second visit. We want to love this place, but unfortunately our second visit was much like our first and we won’t be back again for anything other than drinks and appetizers. We arrived for a 7:30 reservation for a party of 4. We were seated promptly. Our server came and took our drink order. Then the wait started. Our drinks were served one at a time, with several minutes between each one coming to the table. The appetizers were very good, but our dinners were very disappointing. The breading on the fish in the fish and chip dinner was very thick and dough like. The filet, ordered medium was cooked perfectly on one half and the other half was rare. The vegetables, especially the potatoes and green beans were undercooked and parts of our meals were cold and others seemed freshly made. The wait times for getting our food were extremely long. We did not send anything back as we did not have time to wait for new or fresh food. The manager did come to the table and was gracious enough to take a bit off of the bill. Hoping this was just another “off night”, but I think we will give it awhile before we go back.

    Our party ordered a calamari appetizer and it was so salty we had to return it as it was inedible. I ordered the chicken piccata, which was extremely bland, a stark difference from the appetizer. My friend ordered the same and his chicken was very dry. I have been to this restaurant since they opened after taking over the Cru space and have not been disappointed until now. Our server was great.
