   My favorite restaurant for an after-show dinner! The food, service and atmosphere are all incredibly amazing!! Took my 88 year old mom and sister here after a Johnny Mathis Christmas concert and the staff was so kind, helping my mom get from her wheelchair to a seat at the table. The food is authentic Italian like I remember from childhood. Pricing is very reasonable and the portions are large. And the Christmas music and decorations made it feel like the perfect Christmas celebration for our girls’ night out! Thank you to all at Buona Sera!

   i realize it's the holiday season, that is why I made this reservation almost Two months in advance. I requested the front dining room-facing the kitchen. My dining partners had enjoyed this room for the past couple of years and we were looking forward to it. We were seated in the large noisy rear dining room. Definitly not my choice--but again, its a busy time of year. Food was great, it always is, but I was disappointed that we were not seated as per my request. Again, I know a request is not a guarantee, but I was still dissappointed---the noise level was so loud, it was difficult to have any conversation. Summary---the food was fantastic, the noise level was not.

   The food was great, and our waiter was cheerful and efficient in spite of the restaurant being jam-packed. Buona Sera is our first choice when attending a performance in Red Bank.

   I met a friend for lunch. We shared a bottle of wine, had soup and chicken parmigiana on a cold day. Our waiter was perfect and allowed us to enjoy a slow lunch.

   Visited the restaurant before going to a show at the Basie. Service very attentive - and not rushed. Oversized portions with very good quality of food - so much so that we had to bring home a portion of our appetizer, and two meals. Def would go again when there wasn't a show - might cut down on the noise lever - other than that - VERY GOOD ! No wonder they have survived Red bank for so long

   Service was fabulous and food excellent. Noise level was very high at times but great service, wonderful ambiance and great food made up for it.

    Place was lovely. Very crowded. If we sat down at the table for two found out that it was and kept moving as we ate, could not be fixed so was a bit uncomfortable table was near a door and people kept going outside and it was cold. Service OK to start but then it was like we were almost forgotten. Appetizers brought out in a timely fashion. Dinner brought out before we finished appetizers so it was taken back then it was brought out again obviously reheated and we still hadn’t finished appetizers for the most part. Asked for cheese and it was brought until I almost finished my pasta dish. The Italian cheesecake which is supposed to be creamy was a bit dry and had a refrigerator taste so I left a good portion of it. From the reviews I read, I thought it would be excellent, but it was not. It was fair at best. The attraction to it was that it was so close to the theater . Would not run back!
