Interesting combination of barbecue and sushi. Both were fabulous. Cooking Barbecue created a lot of smoke. Othereise I’d give it 5 stars.

This place is quant & intimate which is the type of places I like for date night. This time I invited a few friends, and sat at the bar. WOW it felt like a world class Waffle House. The bartender was amazing, and so were the chefs.

Cool spot but some minor issues. Sushi rolls to large to eat normally, pork belly was delicious but too crispy on top- so much so it actually hurt our mouth! Sprouts were more burnt than normal charred. Drinks were meh.

Ah, Bully Boy, a name that conjures grit, ambition, and a whiff of swagger. If only the execution lived up to the bravado. Dining here feels less like stepping into a polished culinary experience and more like wandering into a training ground where eager but underseasoned staff bungle their way through service in hopes of graduating to the big leagues—perhaps to the loftier environs of its sister restaurant, 2 Urban Licks. Let’s talk service, or the conspicuous lack thereof. Ten minutes to be greeted at our reserved table on New Year’s Eve—an evening where precision should shine like a well-cut diamond—is inexcusably sluggish. Drinks? A torturous 20-minute wait. And the food? Delivered by runners rather than the waitstaff, who seemed to vanish like a poorly executed soufflé. The absence of a manager to triage this chaos was glaring, especially on a night when leadership is crucial. The food itself? Inoffensive but unremarkable. The ribs, touted with all the allure of a carnival barker, were a chewy disappointment, their toughness begging for the intervention of a pressure cooker—or divine mercy. Yet, paradoxically, there’s a glimmer of hope in the ambience, a masterclass in atmosphere that almost distracts from the kitchen’s foibles. It’s a space that whispers potential, but potential is cold comfort when your ribs fight back. Would I return? Perhaps, grudgingly, to perch at the bar where expectations might shrink to match the setting. But as for a full dining experience, Bully Boy has a long way to go before it earns its place among Atlanta’s culinary elite. For now, it’s a promising understudy that’s not ready for the spotlight.

The food and service was amazing, I would highly recommend going to sample the delicious food. The highlights for me were the hamachi crudo and the kalbi ribs but every thing we had was great, and don’t skip the cocktails!
