Came for Dine Downtown and just walking in the door, the restaurant was lively and welcoming. Salads were very good and soup, cauliflower mushroom, was excellent. Folks were happy with their entrees of risotto, lamb, cassoulet, and boeuf bourguignon. Kudos to the chef to make us all happy with our choice. Carrot cake was good and the sponge cake was great. We left appreciating the staff and Brasserie for a most enjoyable Dine Downtown experience.

When your reservation is confirmed for 6pm and they can't seat you till 6:15 or 6:20 because they have overbooked the evening I can't really give an outstanding recommendation. We changed our entire choice of food because we were concerned about how long things were going to take and we had tickets for a show. That being said, the drinks were excellent and the food that we did have was very good.

Our first time here on a Thursday night. There appeared to be multiple events downtown, so it was quite busy. We ate from the Dine Downtown pre-fixe menu of three courses. The salad was simple, but tasty. Our entrees were very good. I had beef and my wife had leg of lamb. The lamb was very tasty but tough. The beef was excellent. The entrees were a bit slow coming out due to the kitchen being slammed, but the ambiance and service made up for it. We were not even aware of a french-themed restaurant in town. We had a good experience and will be back.

This was our third time at this restaurant tho not for Dine Downtown. The Dine Downtown menu’s salad was all butter lettuce with nothing else. The beef entree sauce was salty and the pineapple/ carrot cake was minuscule and very dry. The best part of the meal was the bread (which we had to pay extra for). The service was good, but I always feel like they are more interested in how many customers they can serve than making the meal memorable. We have been to two other Dine Downtown locations and were very disappointed at this one. Not sure we will go there again. There’s a much better French restaurant in Riverside if you are ever in that area!

We went to Brasserie duMonde last night. We were warmly greeted by the hostess upon entry. Shortly thereafter we were directed to our seats. The decor is French bistro. I ordered the short ribs, 2 folks ordered the lamb and another ordered the salmon. Everyone felt their meal was cooked to perfection. They have delicious cocktails and mocktails. This place is a keeper.

We went for the Dine Sacramento event, which was $45 for a set menu option. It had multiple entree options, all of which looked fabulous. Rob had the duck confit and I had a Coho salmon. The menu and wine list are fantastic! We made reservations, and I recommend that!!

Dined ere for "Dine Downtown" and ordered from special menu. The starter portions were pretty small, as often is the case with this type of event. The mains were good, though the cassoulet was salty. Desserts were tiny, but tasty. I'd give this restaurant a second look.
