                                                      This was our second visit to Boxcar Bistro and once again they didn’t disappoint. From the moment you walk in to when you leave it is well orchestrated. Lots of room between intimate tables and nice lighting. Unlike a lot of restaurants nowadays, you can hear your table mates while talking. Old school dining service, no turn and burn here. The courses were perfectly timed and so well prepared. We are already looking forward to our next visit. Crème brûlée is a must to close out your stay!

                                                      Came here for a business dinner, absolutely delicious. The carrot miso purée with the blackened prawns was so delectable, I had to restrain myself from licking the plate clean. Innovative French fusion that made me wish I lived here so I could become a regular! An absolute must if visiting Missoula!

                                                      We had an amazing dining experience! The food was incredible, and we particularly enjoyed the escargot and the duck confit. Service was attentive and helpful, and the ambience was great. We can't wait to dine there again!

                                                      Pleasant service, steak perfectly cooked, extensive wine list, cozy atmosphere. Prices are what you'd expect for fine dining. The menu is predictable and there was not an entrée special. While the steak frites were very good, the seasoning and toppings on the burger were excellent.

                                                      Try the Harvest Salad! Unbelievable. Tasty, beautifully presented, hearty. I ate it all! And thought about ordering another to take home with me. I also had the sea bass and it was perfect. Overall, delicious food, as always. My dining companions also enjoyed their food, including the chicken marsala and chicken with bechamel. They also succumbed to temptation and had the vanilla creme brulee and chocolate torte and raved about them, too. Great service, as always.
