Situated in the heart of Bowness we specialise in serving pasteurised brewery-fresh craft beers served direct from three large copper tanks displayed in the venue, plus a range of other local, national and international beer offerings. We have drinks to quench everyone’s thirst.

The extensive bar selection is complemented by quality hand-stretched pizzas, gourmet burgers & sharing delicatessen boards made using only the finest freshest locally sourced ingredients.

We’re lucky enough to be positioned close to several popular attractions in Bowness including Beatrix Potter’s World, making us the perfect place to fuel up before a day out or to rest up after a hard day trekking in the fells. We welcome dogs and have bowls for them so they can enjoy a refreshing drink.

We visited this restaurant to eat on Friday night. The service was poor, took around 10 minutes for a member of staff to let us know we order food and drinks at the bar. Our food came reasonably fast, me and my partner both had pizzas. They were both very greasy and undercooked. Some of the prices were unreasonable. I was staying at Aprodiates for my birthday weekend. I fell ill from the Friday and haven’t been the same since. Wouldn’t recommend. Won’t be back!

We arrived on time and we were shown our table and given menus , we then waited 15 minutes without being served. Finally l got up and asked for service and l was told that they were extremely busy! Finally we ordered drinks and food, this also was very slow to arrive, the milk shake was tasteless and the burgers cold ! We certainly wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone!

⭐️⭐️ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING⭐️⭐️ my burger I ordered was AMAZING. it was packed full of favour and the loaded fries I upgraded to was definitely worth it. It really was lovely. My husband ordered a pizza and that too was delicious. 10/10. Would definitely go back.

The pizza was excellent and comparable to what we have eaten in the US. The selection of beers was outstanding and the wait staff was helpful and efficient
