   My wife and I went to a dinner there on Thursday nite. The waiter told us about the Sunday buffet brunch. So we made reservation for 4. Imagine our surprise when we arrived to find no brunch and no notice from the restaurant of the canceled brunch. A great disappointment. This will not be a mistake we make again.

   I decided to eat at Bourbon Brothers for my birthday. The service was good, but my food was not. I ordered the chopped steak medium rare, and when it came, the steak was well done. The green beans served as a side were dried up, and there were black seasoning chunks in the beans, which I did not know what the seasoning was. I had to request the other side item I ordered, which was not brought out with the beans and steak. When the new steak was brought to the table they brought new sides. The new green beans were plump, vibrant green, and full of chunks of bacon and seasoning. They were FRESH the other green beans they served me must have been days old, and I was furious that I was served the dried-up, yucky seasoned beans the first time! The restaurant offers ice cream to patrons on their birthday but I was offered nothing. When I asked about ice cream they were out. What a terrible birthday dinner! I spoke with the manager and her response was she didn't care! And we were overcharged too! She denied it and would not listen. I was so furious and we left. NEVER EAT AT BOURBON BROTHERS!!

   I made reservations earlier in the week because I knew they might show the SEC championship game, and I was correct.  We arrived 10 minutes earlier than our reservation time, but they seated us immediately because the table became available. Our waiter for the evening, whose name I do not recall at present, was outstanding. He took all our drinks, appetizers, and food orders, and we had everything in less than 30 minutes. Everything was made to order and delicious. This was my second time at Bourbon Brothers, and we will be back.

   I booked a table here because it was convenient for a concert and also I was looking for a nice place to celebrate an anniversary. This was a lot less than I expected. The menu was quite pricey and the atmosphere was about Chili’s level. In my opinion they should do one or the other. Fine dining to match the prices or go to cheaper bar food.

   We had a group of 6 people with a reservation. We were seated as soon as we checked in. The hostess was very friendly and accommodating. Our server came over and quickly took our drink order, at which time we also asked for an appetizer. I believe we ordered a 2nd drink before ordering our entrees. We asked about the appetizer and our server said he would check on it. When I ordered my entree I asked the server to please make sure our appetizer, salad, and entree did not come all at once. He assured me it wouldn’t. Well the egg rolls finally came, they were awesome btw, and the 10 seconds later came our salad, and 10 seconds later the entrees. It was very clear the kitchen couldn’t handle the orders. The server tried his best, but was overwhelmed, too. The food was fantastic! My husband raved about the meatloaf, and one of our friends really enjoyed the salmon. All in all it was a good experience. Just need more staff to help out in busy times.

   I had the pulled pork sliders, which was an appetizer as my entree ($12) it had 3 sliders plus added fries ($5). The sliders were good and I liled the horseradish coleslaw on them. My husband had the meatloaf ($22) that came with mashed potatoes and Mexican creamed corn. He liked the meal, especially the corn. I felt the meatloaf serving was small for the price. It was round and the size of a petite filet mignon. I drank water and hub had a beer. We had the creme brulee (delicious) and coffee for dessert. The Georgia Florida game was on and it was loud because of that, but it's a tavern so expected. The bill was around $85 which to me is high for some bar food. We ate there because we were attending a concert next door, but doubt we will return. We ordered modestly, other menu items were pricier.

    Six of us had dinner before seeing Celtic Thunder. Everyone loved their food. And service was great!
