   We are Tapas fans and decided to check out Boqueria. Service: Great. Our server was very nice, helpful, and attentive. If I had to point out a negative about the service, it would be the servers (not our main server) who brought out the tapas once they were prepared. They would just drop off the plate and give the name, but would not explain what the dish was. Atmosphere: Great. Nice place for a date or happy hour with co-workers. Food: Average. We ordered the Boqueria experience. The experience was $65 person and in my opinion was not worth it. We received 8-9 tapas with all the plates with the exception of 1-2 being average. The stars were the potatoes and artichokes. Otherwise the 6-7 other tapas were average. Drink: The apple cider sangria was delicious Overall it was a good experience, but not sure if I’ll make this a priority when I want Tapas again.

   The food is delicious, but need to better with their meat and cheese board. The pieces of cheese that were served were paper thin and tiny, as well as the Jamon Serrano.

   Our first time at the restaurant but it won’t be the last. The food is delicious. Even the staple patatas bravas was elevated. Good job!!!

   Took advantage of their amazing happy hour menus for an impromptu girls night! The drinks were amazing, especially. The white wine sangria and the food was delicious. We loved the Patatas Bravas so much, it was a table favorite. The dip for the Patatinas is amazing, I’ll be thinking about it for a good bit. Everything we tried was yummy! We had great service, I have already recommended this place to several friends!

    The service, both front of the house and the table waitstaff was outstanding. We were seated immediately upon arrival, had a very nice table where the reasonable volume made conversation easy with no strain to hear each other, and the waitress was knowledgeable and patient answering our questions. Unfortunately the quality of the food did not match that of the service. We ordered the chef’s menu for five people. Some of the tapas were good, for example the mushroom flatbread, but most were only fair. The meatballs, for instance, tasted like average meatballs in tomato sauce and the grilled tenderloin was surprisingly flavorless. Most disappointing was the seafood paella which was noticeably overcooked and dry as a result. Bottom line is that, despite the excellent service, the food failed to impress and for the price it was not a good value. I will not be going to Boqueria again.

However, the quality of the food did not meet expectations, and the comments about the chef’s menu and specific dishes will be taken into consideration. I am terribly sorry about the tenderloin as it is one of my favorites. I apologize for the paella as well as it is a staple item for our restaurant. While the service was excellent, it is regrettable that the food did not provide the same level of satisfaction.
