It was good Indian food. Not the best, but good. Service was good, but they brought one of the wrong dishes( chicken not veggie)and when brought up they apologized and made the right one for us. They didn’t comp the dish they got wrong, which would have been nice, but certainly unnecessary. Attire is a little on the fancier side for Indian, mostly collared shirts and jackets for men. Recommend you order extra rice. Samosa was quite good.

Delicious. Green chili chicken was amazing, sorry I had no way to keep leftovers! Large portion. Kale was delightful. Thalis for my newbie husband was raved over. Excellent, fun service.

The initial experience is amazing. White linen tablecloth and napkin. Piano player playing softly. Then the experience starts to fade. The food is average Indian. I’ve had better in strip malls. The lamb was very tough. The naan was good. The samosa generally dry with little flavor. Then there is the service. Long waits for water or to order. No explanation of the menu. We were at our table for about an hour, my two companions had finished but I was still eating. They came in and cleared all the plates, bowls, rice and naan while I was trying to finish a bite. I stopped eating because everything but my plate had been removed. Nothing to write home about here, and at this price point, there are much better experiences to be had.

As always a wonderful meal. We haven't been in a number of years, but as good as we remember and with great food and service. A DC classic in a great location. Yes, it's expensive, but worth it. Valet is covered with your meal. Look out for this one during Restaurant Week. Then the price is more palatable.

Wonderful flavor and service. Our waitress seemed nerves and not really educated on the menu and drinks. The food was delivered somewhat lengthy but acceptable and the flavor were great. We would visit again

We are frequent diners at The Bombay Club, and have always enjoyed the experience, but have noticed that the overall experience has declined based on our past visits. There is no longer valet parking(I am sure a victim of COVID), the wine selection was not as good as it has been, service was attentive but sometimes not continuous, all of the food was very good, but something just seemed off, it was all a little tired compared to the previous times we have dined. We enjoyed the meal, and had a large party, and in turn a large check, but I am just not sure it was worth the price this time. Very sad for us because we have always loved this restaurant. We will try again soon and see if it was us and not them, hopefully this was just a one-off feeling.

Excellent service, great food, but not as spicy as advertised, even asking for 3 chilies (spicy).
